The Magical Approach: Seth Speaks About the Art of Creative Living

I recently discovered this book after reading Seth Speaks. I used to not put that much belief in what goes on after death. I had a long-running interest in finding out what DOES go on after death though, and believe something does indeed happen. But the theories I ran into prior to Seth were unconvincing. Had I run into Seth’s teachings way back then, I would have scoffed at this material.After a year of assiduously practicing The Teachings of Abraham, I bumped into Seth Speaks. Well, the truth is, a work colleague bought it for me as a gift and presented it in such a way that indicated to me I was completely ready for the material. Diving into that book opened a whole new life view that has changed my experience of life forever and is still opening new vistas (generated internally by my own connection to Source) in my life, my world view and what I know is possible.After reading Seth Speaks, I chose do dive head-long into all his writings. This was my first branch-out. It’s not a direct how-to. So if you’re looking for that (i.e. specific steps on creating your own reality), I’d strongly suggest focusing on Abraham’s teachings. What Seth does here is in a very indirect way give clues to how you are God, how you create the reality (including the physical matter) you interact with in your life experience of this life, which is really a direct projection of your intentions, responses to the substrate, and reactions to others’ experiences, which you create in yours. “Life” is a gloriously complex system in which we divine, fully-joyful and multidimensional beings are expanding All That Is. This book clarifies - albeit indirectly - how we do that.It’s deep stuff. Short and quick. But if you enjoyed and felt you got something from Seth Speaks, you’ll get something from this.I only give it 4 stars because of the indirect nature in which Seth details exactly how to create the world around you. Pay attention to what you read though and you’ll open up a whole new life for yourself.

When you reach the point in your spiritual journey where you can visualize, write/speak to affirm, take inspired action guided by your intuition and simply TRUST the Divine to really truly deliver amazing results even when you CANNOT SEE THE WAY, this ABSOLUTELY works. I've created houses, relationships, wealth beyond my wildest dreams, luxury cars and more. However the most amazing part of it all is understanding that I actually CAUSED it to be created, even 'modifying the past' to change my NOW MOMENT experience. Many books are helpful and this one guides without getting too detailed like his other books (that I love, as I love knowing exactly HOW it all actually works). I can honestly say that in 30 years of spiritual learning, my SETH books are the #1 book series I've ever read and put into practical, daily life use....and I am truly living the life beyond what I ever once thought I could. Simply amazing when you TRUST yourself and your divine assistance. I've purchased dozens of his books for friends, family, donated them at Spirit fairs and events, all to help others truly discover the power all humans have within them to create our physical and non-physical experiences.

if your used to and want to read seth in the manner in which you have been, this may not be the book for you. that said, once i got into it and being a ... LOA'er (law of attraction) for about 8 years now, this book is a great added volume to my collection of seth material. basically tho, the "approach" is being given to jane and rob and at a time in their lives (jane is not well) when ... it has become quite apparent that NOT implementing this ... "magical" approach, over the course of their seth engagement, has sort of ... worn them down, especially jane. tho one could speculate (and i have) that jane had a deeper agenda going on.i have been involved with the work of abraham-hicks since 06 and going over all the seth stuff now after a few years of abe, is really, TRULY fascinating. while reading this particular book i had to remember that jane and rob were of my mothers generation and i could no more see my other even LISTENING to ANY of the seth work, let alone "channel" it or use it in any way! LOLso on the one hand it was a bit heartbreaking to know that jane would go janes way, even with all the great stufff she allowed to pass from her lips for all of us! abraham likens this "magical approach" to... oh LOA and the universal manager etc. the whole idea of asking and its given, etc.im enjoying the book and happy to have it.

I have read many of the Seth books and all of the Abraham books. The Seth books are so multilayered in content that you can read and re-read them and still learn something new. I became interested in this book after Reading Oversoul 7. There is a brief chapter at the end of the second book of oversoul seven that talks about the magic all around us at every moment. I wanted more about this, The Magical approach is not a long book but it is very deep. Seth is talking about how time is simply a structure imposed on us through the industrial revolution for more productivity in a working world and has nothing to do with natural time or cycles of creativity. He is also talking about how much we want to believe out rational, intellectual mind and how much more there is going on in the deeper levels of our being and how much we have access to if we can move beyond the mind and into multi dimensional layers of our being. Again, the rational mind is imposed over so much more that is so less structured. It is a very deep and satisfying read. It is also practical and has the potential to transform your thinking if you are open to it!

In my opinion the Seth Books are the best out there in terms of how we create our own reality both individually and collectively. Anyone who believes the Seth Material is evil clearly have never read any of the books. If you desire to change your life you can and all the Seth Material will help you to do this.What we think and believe we create.. in the words of Seth "Which World.. Which You?". You have the choice and you decide through the thoughts, beliefs and feelings you entertain in the present moment, this is what ultimately shapes your world."YOU GET WHAT YOU CONCENTRATE UPON"

I have read many, many books in my lifetime and this is the worse book I have ever bought. I can't believe that they actually found a publisher. This book is bla, bla, bla, but says NOTHING. I am shocked that they are not ashamed to actually take money for this - nothing saying - book. I have thrown this book away because I wouldn't dare giving it to anyone who then tries reading it and getting so frustrated with it.

A superb account from Seth on the nature of Reality and the importance of intuition as a source of knowledge; as valuable as that collected by the conscious mind. I thoroughly enjoyed this book - I only wish there was more of it! I should be read in conjunction with some other Seth books to get the most out of the material, but that's no reflection on the quality of the material here!

Not a lot that is new here. Seems to spend a lot of time on Jane, punctuated by Butts tedious notes. Not the best Seth book
