Fancy Mixed Bearded Iris Root,Rhizome, Plant,Start, for Spectacular Flowers Year After Year

First off, the description “fancy mix” bearded iris is most definitely misleading. I suspect it’s labeled that way because they don’t know which plant they’re actually shipping you. AFTER I received the SINGLE chopped off rhizome (wrapped in newspaper), I reread through everything and discovered, as many others did, that we were ripped off. The great reviews are very likely people paid to boost their rating or they work for/affiliated with the seller. What you see in my pictures, is what you get. The bulb or root portion is 2 inches long. It’s pretty dry.It came with an admonishment to “never leave a negative feedback” (see pic 4). Because…That would make people not buy their product! 😱 The planting instructions are there on the same sheet.Since I don’t want others to make the same mistake I did, I’m posting as honest a review as possible.

I order 2 different iris rhizomes from this seller. They are a bit on the smallish size (diameter) but that is offset by the facts that they are 3" long, and are freshly-harvested from the field -- they have a good 6 inches of green leaves and the roots are fresh and moist (not dried). These rhizomes, when I plant them today, will have a jumpstart for further growth next Spring. Excellent!.

Very disappointed with the wording/pictures. Mix indicates more than one item. If the post is only for one item but you show 3 why shouldn't I be able to pick the color. The plant looks viable. Will follow instructions and cross my fingers.

Iris rhizome arrived in very poor shape. I'm not sure it will live, but I planted it with nurturing care. We will see what happens. I will not try ordering through the mail again.

Bought this Iris bulb in 2021 finally got a bloom this year. On top of slow growth the color isn't any that are shown. I wanted something different than what I already have but ended up with purple and yellow. All the negative reviews are true for this company.

This item was misrepresented as multiple item. What I received was one chopped off bulb that had some leaf growth on it and was badly dehydrated. I have no idea if it will grow or even what color it may be. I am very disappointed in this product and the company selling it. Wrapped up with the bulb was a letter asking not to give bad reviews but I've waited 10 days and have not heard back from them about my disappointment in the product. I apologize for writing a bad review but you left me no choice. I would not recommend buying a iris bulb from this company. Sincerely Grover Strickland
