These work out well. I purchased them to scare off the woodpeckers from pecking at my house. They do the job, and the kids think they are fun. Obviously, they are really loud, though.

When my cats get to rambunctious and start hissing or growling at one another I barely have to touch the air horn and they take off in opposite directions. I am happy about this. Prior to the air horns I had tried numerous ways and things to distract them, they either ignored my actions or turned them into a game. This is not a big investment and worth every cent.

I gave three stars because the volume of this air horn is so different than the ones I had in a "not so good way"! The volume of the horn is so VERY LOUD it might cause damage to your ears. Please be cautious! I barely make it sound to get my cats off the counters and the volume is uncomfortably ear piercing! I'll try it outside to scare off the coyotes instead! OMG I've NEVER had a small air horn make such a horribly LOUD sound that it feels dangerous to use because of possible ear damage, but this one does it!

Horrible it broke in mid blow I would never buy this product again 0 out of 10 I don’t recommend.
