Sony DSX-A416BT Car radio With Dual Bluetooth, NFC, USB and AUX connection and Apple iPod/ iPhone Control, 35000 Colours and Handsfree - Multi-Colour

Replaced a Pioneer unit with integrated CarPlay with this and an external CarPlay device. Wow, this Sony's sound blows the Pioneer out of the water. The interface is intuitive despite being a limited display, easy to connect two Bluetooth devices, great FM reception, love that you can colour customise both the buttons and the display separately for your favourite combo, have it flash in time with the music, etc. Really great unit, amazing for the price, very happy buyer.

Everything you need is in the box. Installation is really simple, and the ISO harness has bullet connectors for swapping constant and ignition live, if required. Comes with a good quality mic which has plenty of cable. Bluetooth to two iPhones works well, and the head unit integrates with contacts on the phone, so you can call/answer straight from the stereo. Connection via USB works brilliantly, and track info is displayed on the stereo screen. Sony Music Center app gets poor reviews in the Apple App Store, but is working really well, allowing music streaming over Bluetooth and from Amazon Prime music. All in all, really very pleased with this unit. Does everything I wanted it to, and does it extremely well.

Good radio that was very simple to install as long as you know what you are doing and have the correct harnesses for your vehicle. Sound quality is good and easy to use once you get your hands on using it.

Love this system, it sounds really awesome with so much more bass than the previous system. It’s easy to customise the display and I play around with the colours a lot. There’s lots of sound EQ settings, the menu takes a bit of getting used to but it’s easy enough. It remembers all of our settings when the car is switched off, no problems like other users have reported. The only downsides I can think of is sometimes Bluetooth pairing with my iPhone is a bit hit and miss, it gets there eventually but sometimes takes some fiddling, also reattaching the face to the stereo isn’t as easy as it should be. Overall these problems don’t damage the experience much and overall it’s shown to be great value, impressive how much power they can get out of these things.

Awesome, I got this as a Christmas present for my wife. She already had a Sony stereo in her car so it was just a case of taking the old one out and putting this one in. Awesome looking with the different colours. Note: This has no CD player. After fitting it I went back on to buy myself one but it had gone back up to full price, I will be keeping an eye on this going back down in price so I can grab another bargain.

Excellent radio , very easy to install with excellent sound quality........ if I have one niggle it would be the lack of a CD player , I have 1000’s of cds and like to listen to them in car but it’s not a massive issue as I also have Spotify. Would recommend.

Good middle range radio, there was an issue with the installation, however. The radio wouldn't shut down when the key was out the ignition and when starting the car back up the radio would reset itself to factory setting wiping out any stored settings. I had to check the power feed coming from the radio to the car and swap the wires around. Because of this, I would give it 3 out of 5 as it was causing a few issues draining power in the car until it was rectified.

Sounds amazing and great features but it's quite complicated to navigate around. I'm quite tech savvy and it's taking some working out even having read the manual.
