Product very nice, some details lacking
This is an amended review. The cups and saucers are beautiful, and it's especially fun to mix and match the cups and saucers for a fun, whimsical table. The cups are not marked as to their suitability to dishwasher or microwave. Nor is there anything included in the box - or on the box - to confirm this. so the only claim to such is the description of the product on the Amazon website. I have no reason to doubt the credibility of same.My intended use was to bake a small cake in them via microwave, wrap up cake in cup, and give them as Mother's Day gifts. As the lovely cups are rimmed in gold, with a gold handle, and with everything I have been taught about putting metal in the microwave, I have not tried it so can't verify the description on Amazon as to it's microwavability. P.S. i tried the cake in another cup, and it was lousy.I shall definitely use the cups at my next tea party.
