X1 Weight Watcher Suitcase Zipperless Self Weighing Carbon Black/Rose Gold TSA Approved 100% PC Carbon (25")

I used this suitcase for a six-week trip and loved its low weight, easy rolling, strength, and its built-in scale (great for avoiding overweight). I rolled it for blocks at a time over cobblestones and on pavement. It does not scratch easily. What I wish it did have is a handle on the bottom so that if two people, say, wanted to carry it upstairs, it could be easily lifted by them. It is important to remove the battery that powers the scale BEFORE BOARDING an airplane.

Inside and out, the visuals and functionality of this luggage rock. The wheels are super quiet as advertised but seem flimsily attached. The aluminum frame seems study enough, but the carbon fiber looking thermoplastic polymer surrounding the frame seems a tad thin and flimsy also. Time will tell in terms of durability, but we will see.

This product line is elegant and well made. My friend owns several Rimowa's and she agrees that this line compares well without the snob appeal prices. I am only 5' and finally exchanged the 28" for another 25". Enkloze have their own repair centers and back up their products with a 5-year guarantee - reassuring. Can't wait to show it off on my next trip.

I instantly regretted I bought it. It is fragile and easily breaks.

Fragile wheel and case construction resulted in this case breaking WITH FIRST AND ONLY USE. Wheel and housing detaching from case making it near impossible to roll. Contacted customer service with issue immediately following my return and they have ignored all communications. Warranty is a fraud. Stay away from this case and manufacturer.

Shocks on the wheels are awesome. Very light weight. Scale is great. However, one had a corner broken in the first use, wheels do not hold up. They either break it come off entirely. Customer service is not great. Finally have up and bought Tumi.

This is a beautifully designed hard case. Of note, aluminum hinging, rather than the typical fabric/zipper set up, dual locks and a very nicely designed interior. The wheels are first rate and the handle works fine. If you want an upscale hard case at a great price this is the one to go with! I did not keep it because I decided on a soft case - I prefer the 90/10 split for packing, but I was very impressed by this case!

I purchased this bag to use for week long trips. I was looking for a hard case with latch locks and this is perfect. It rolls easily and functions smoothly. The colors and slight pattern is also perfect and I have received compliments from many people.
