Primal Earth Natural Active Calming Face Wash for Sensitive Skin, 125ml (4.2 oz)

I have horribly sensitive skin and happened upon this on accident at a TJMaxx. I took a chance because it was cheap and I was out of my usual facewash. I didn't realize it was branded for men at the time (in fact, It took me 2 bottles to figure it out, but that's another story). I have always struggled with facewash either leaving my skin oily and grimy or drying the crap out of areas. This was the first one that I found that seemed to strike the right balance for my touchy skin (I've had rosacea as well and it has helped calm that down for me too). Also, I don't have to use much to get the job done so a bottle lasts about a full year. Overall a great product for me.

Great product, keep you face incredibly clean. Good for the enviro too! I've been using it for years now. Highly recommended

Can't really say I like it or dislike for the most part. But I don't really care for the fragrance as it smells a bit medical or like a cleaner of sort.Definitely has a aloe gel look and feel and does lather nicely. DID NOT dry my skin as another wrote. I am not one who like fragrances and if it weren't for that I would have given another star. I received this at a discount for my honest review.

Initially, I suspected that something the aloe content was going to leave a greasy layer on my skin but I was wrong. The first time I used Primal Earth, I was very surprised at how easily it rinsed away and even more pleasantly surprised at how clean and soft it left my skin feeling. My face never feels dry after using this but I always feel like my pores have gotten a deep cleansing. And a little of this goes a pretty long way if you wet your skin before applying.I will definitely continue to use Primal Earth and may check out some of their other offerings based on this one.

I purchased this cleanser on whim, without realizing it was intended for men. To my pleasant surprise, this works very well for my dry, sensitive skin. Though it is a gel cleanser, it isn't very drying, and it's the first cleanser I've tried that hasn't broken me out. I've tested cleansers from the Body Shop, Clinique, Lancome, and the drugstore, but everything seemed to irritate my skin, so I just stuck to water and soap. Though it does have a strong fragrance, the scent fades away pretty quickly.
