Dannika Dark=Great Reading!
I am going to change it up a bit by starting with a disclaimer. I am a huge fan of Dannika Dark and all her books. Okay so now that, that’s done, I can continue. This book is the second in the Seven Years Series. The first book, also titled Seven Years, tells the story of Austin and Lexie’s romance. Austin is the packmaster of the Weston Pack. This time around, the story centers around Reno, Austin’s brother, and April, the human manager of Lexie’s candy store. April and Reno meet briefly in Seven Years and they have never forgotten each other. The world that this story takes place in, is the same world of the Breed that was first introduced in the Mageri Series by this author. Animal shifters, or in this case wolf shifters, keep their existence secret as do the rest of the Breed. April and Reno’s romance almost seems doomed due to the Breed not having anything to do with humans. But really that was almost the least of their problems, because when April’s grandmother died, April inherited a huge debt that must be paid off to two different loan sharks. She makes some really poor choices while dealing with a loan shark enforcer, because she refuses to let anyone help her.The story is about April and Reno, but it is also about the love and acceptance of family or in this case the Weston Pack. April’s very humanity, with a hefty side dose of questionable decisions, cause problems for her, Reno and the Pack. I enjoyed the interactions of all the brothers that make up the pack. Each pack member have fully realized personalities; some of them I really like(Austin, Denver and Ben) and some the jury(me), is still out on(Wheeler and Jericho). Hopefully, each will get their own books. April as a character, was smart and caring but also really damaged due to a horrible childhood. Reno is the total alpha male package, a package that comes with loyalty and a protective streak a mile long for April and his pack. The question here is, will April learn to trust Reno enough to let him in or will she lose everything when the loan enforcer decides to make her life hell? And equally importantly, can the Pack accept a human as Reno’s life mate? This book was something for almost everyone-romance, suspense, steamy sexual scenes and humor. The world building of the wolf shifters continues with this book and as usual, the author’s view of the world of the Breed just gets more intricate. It was a really fast read for me and I enjoyed every minute. To me, this series is already paranormal romance at it’s very best and we are only two books in. (RabidReads.ca)

I like it, but not as good as "Seven Years"
We met April in "Seven Years". The day she met Reno was a day that would end up changing her life six months later. Reno has gone for a run and meets the psychotic enforcer after April who throws a screwdriver into his leg. He cannot change to heal himself with it in his leg. He runs across April, a broken 23 year old girl living inside an Airstream camper in a bad trailer park in Austen. She takes the screwdriver out of his leg when most humans would be afraid of being attacked. She brings him in, feeds him and beds him down after she bandages his leg. This begins the relationship between Reno, the older brother PI of the Pack leader Austen, and April. April still has a lot of danger and loan shark obligations to meet. Can a closed in shifter and a damaged young human make a life together? April is going to die one day and Reno will have to live on. April does not want children and Reno can not have any. Will their differences overwhelm what they are trying to build together. What will happen to her friend Trevor who is a gay shifter without the friendship that binds the two of them? A good read!

Sexy Shifters and Plenty of Action
Drop everything and read this book! In this sequel to Seven Years, Six Months continues the sexy, steamy, action-packed adventure of our beloved Weston wolf pack. This book follows April, Lexi's co-worker/business partner, and Reno Cole. I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book as much as the previous one, especially since I really connected with Lexi and Austin, but have no fear, because this book will blow your mind. The chemistry between April and Reno knows no bounds, and is instant. You can feel their attraction to each other dripping off the pages. I loved every second of it.Ms. Dark knows exactly how to tell an amazing story. She has superb storytelling skills that will leave you breathless and needing a fan (for those extra steamy sex scenes). I could easily picture everything; from the characters to the house the Weston pack lives in. I felt as if I was right there, living in the house with them. And come on...who among us wouldn't want to live with these sexy boys! However, Ms. Dark explains the world extremely well. I feel like a person who is new to the series could actually start with this one, and not be confused. The dynamics of the wold pack and Shifter world, as well as the culture, loyalty, and love they have for each other is easily seen and understood. It sucks you in, and never lets you go. Additionally, everything is set up nicely for future books, and it gives us an exciting peek into what Ms. Dark has in store for us (even though I still have no idea what to expect!).All of the characters are brilliant, once again, and it makes me even more excited for the future books to learn more about each brother. Austin and Lexi are heavily present in the story still, but the story truly focuses entirely on April and Reno. While it did take me a little bit to get into April's character, because there were a couple times where I was frustrated with her and her decisions, by halfway in, I loved her. She has a great sense of humor, and is very independent. I will say though, I didn't love Reno and April as much as I loved Lexi and Austin, but they definitely are a close second. Both April and Reno and perfect for each other, and they both have heartbreaking stories. It was interesting and great to delve more in depth with their characters, and I know that we will see more of them in future books.Overall, this is a fantastic story that has non-stop action and adventure. It is packed (no pun intended) with uber-sexy shifters that you can't help but fall in love with, and plenty of steam. This is definitely a great paranormal-romance that will please plenty of fans of the genre. While you don't have to read the first one in order to enjoy this, I highly recommend reading it because it just makes you love the story and the characters even more. I highly recommend this book for fans of Ms. Dark, and can't wait to read the next book in the series! Happy reading :)

Wow
Love the sense of family in this series, blood or non. Same breed or not. So enjoyed the dynamics between these two characters. This book had all the right ingredients for a cover to cover read. Narration was awesome too.

LOVE THIS BOOK
Reno and April....an unlikely pair of lovers. Wolf and human....could this be a huge mistake? April loves to rescue injured or orphaned animals so doesn't even think twice when an injured "dog" shows up at her trailer door bleeding. She sees a screwdriver in his underarm and pulls it free. As mysteriously as he arrived, he disappeared again. That "dog" is a wolf and the wolf is a shifter named Reno. What follows is a very good story of how their relationship develops and they fall in love. It isn't without complications! READ IT TO GET THE WHOLE STORY!

Caught between two worlds....
I love this book!!!! I dived straight in after "7 years" and just got sucked in from the first page! Reno, eldest brother falls hard for human April, but she just has so much to deal with, debt, threats, family issues and her feelings for Reno....she was proud and stubborn and a couple of times I wanted to shake her!!!! He went all out to protect her and tried to ensure her happiness....it took a little while for April to finally accept him, but it was touching and heartfelt. I loved the pack, all the brothers personalities are coming out and I desperately want them all to have their HEA's, including Ivy and I need more on Prince!!! The family always comes first and when they took their new member in, it was simply another brother, regardless of past or baggage...but I will never hear Diana Ross -"I'm coming out" in quite the same way again!!! I was stunned by the ending of the last chapter....my heart actually ached at April's wishes for Reno's future....I hope to god that she gets a chance to be with him and they are together.....she needs some divine intervention, seriously!!! Really enjoyable read....but I am now a bit stumped as I am not sure what's next and when it's out.....soon I hope!!!

I've given it 4 stars because I didn't feel as drawn to her character like I was with Lexi
Book #2 focuses on April (Lexi's co-worker) and Reno.I've given it 4 stars because I didn't feel as drawn to her character like I was with Lexi.April's life is an absolute shambles which keeps on getting and worse and worse by the minute, which is made this way by the bad decisions that she makes. Whilst I didn't agree with everything that she did, you have to admire her for her need to take control of the situation and sort everything out on her own without anybody's help so as to not hurt them which turns out to be her downfall and a character flaw. Her inability to ask for help hurt not only the pack and her closest friend but by the end she learns that she can ask for help once in a while.I was very interested in how her relationship would go with Reno, a shifter with a human and would it even last? I loved how despite all this Reno still wanted her and even fought with his own brothers about the issue. He doesn't care that she is a different species, as long as he is with her which is very Romeo and Juliet.I picked up the thing with Trevor pretty much straight away and like how he denies who he is and fights it because I can't imagine everyone would be very happy with it - this was refreshing and I really like him.Another great job from Dannika and can't wait to get to know more about the Weston pack.
