Great for fixing wide cracks in your driveway.
This worked great and gives you the look of a pro patch job. Also good for tie in work where you are patching a cut / repaved area. Make sure you have a proper paving torch or hand or hand propane torch to melt them in place.

Works great!!!
Love this product! Would recommend it! I repaired a crack that went across my driveway. It sealed it and it made it through the winter and never opened back up. For years I’ve been trying different kinds of asphalt patch with no luck! Crack always reopened. This is the first product that sealed the crack and didn’t reopen thru the winter. I would recommend this product!!!

tempermental but effective
This stuff sicks to everything except the plastic wound with it. At 80 degrees it was sticking to the driveway, my gloves, and itself on the edge of the roll. I threw it in the freezer for an hour. Cooled it unrolled easily but as it warmed the plastic would not release. I had to burn the plastic off while trying to get the rubber to flow and it left an ugly suface. More trouble than it is worth but I did not have a beter solution for the wide cracks.

first time user
I really like this product. I have a long driveway with plants growing in the cracks so this past summer I have been slowly working through cleaning and then sealing the cracks. This is nice for the smaller cracks, it seals well and the ants can't get through either. Although, I have had to do a few a second time... but I think that was my inability to seal the crack thoroughly the first time. So far, the tape melts well into the driveway and the first ones I did in April, are still holding fine. I'll wait until after winter before cover-sealing the entire driveway.. I prefer this shorter length of tape since on the hot days, it sticks together a bit more, and I can't imagine trying to manipulate a roll longer than 33 feet. It would be cheaper, but I think the edges would cause more sticking together problems. I use wire shears to cut the tape and I try to keep the tape as cool as possible before laying it down. The hotter it is the stickier the tape and more difficult to get a smooth line of tape, especially if working alone. I've gotten 5 different roles and each one was wrapped well and unrolled nicely (for the most part,). Like I said, it's important to keep it cool so it doesn't stick to itself or the scissors too much. I will have to clean the scissors with special cleanser when I'm done the driveway. I would definitely recommend this product. It does need to be heated with a blow torch, but once you get used to it, it's pretty easy...just time consuming.

Clean surface cracks real good before lay down giving it five stars
Use tape on my ass fault numerous cracks very happy with it use the torch for the propane tank don’t overdo it suggestion put in freezer before you start easier to cut when it becomes sticky again on a hot day put it back in the freezer wait a while finish job if you don’t may look like Spiderman caught in a spiderweb

Would not buy again
Very difficult to use. Tape would not unspool for application, and became stretchy like taffee in a thin string . Ended up getting poor coverage and bad adhesion, tape frequently burned through leaving a gap in the line. Would not buy again or recommend.

Simple remedy for sealing joints and cracked tarmac
Fairly easy to handle and simple to apply, can be used to seal cracks in concrete as well. It is advisable to apply when the surface is dry and clear of dust and debris. Try not to stretch the tape when laying it down (you'll find out why) and keep unused tape in the paper wrapper and box. The photo implies you need to use a roofing felt type blow torch but a hot air gun or plumbing blow lamp will work as well, just a bit slower. Have used this to seal and stabilise cracks and joints on a tarmac drive as well as concrete with good results.
