Flame One Indoor and Outdoor Premium Gel Fireplace Fuel in 13 Oz Cans (24 Pack)

Okay, I tried it. Been buying Real Flame for more than a couple of years. This was my first time with this brand. Smell is non existent. One can does heat a room, for a good 2-3 hours. What do I dislike? Well, sometimes you don't get to finish a can and need to smother the flame. It does smother, but try to relight and burn the rest later. Does not work. I get a couple of flicks of flame, then poof! Out it goes. I tried stirring remaining gel to get carbon off top. Doesn't work. I scooped out and into another can. Same thing. Burns for a second or two, then goes out. I think I will stick with Real Flame, which does allow you to use up rest of gel when previously smothered. Thanks for reading.

Decided to try these because of the lower price compared to other gel fuel I've used. While the flames are a nice orange color and even crackle like real wood fires, the cans don't burn off all the fuel, and the gel formula leaves an unpleasant smell in the house afterwards. Will go back to the other brand.

I am burning my 1st can as we speak. Nice flame and seeing if it crackles/pops. I received ahead of schedule! Even though a box inside a box a few cans had small dents. Not bad seeing it came from China. I have used more expensive brands so wanted to try this as I can save $$. So far GOOD value for the $$$ and FAST DELIVERY A++++

This product is not very good and I have gone back to using the real flame product even though a little more expensive. Only 2/3 of every single one of the cans burned; the product inside was a very thick gel and I even tried stirring it up since shaking the cans prior to use did not do anything. There was a thick crust that formed over the remaining product in the can. I even tried scraping this off, restoring the remaining thick gel and relighting and it still did not burn off. The relit gel just went out. The smell was also very strong and noxious...like smelling gasoline.

So I’ve been using other brands in fireplace and this is a new try for me. The cans open easily. Gel is pale blue in color. The flame starts very strong and hot. It is very pretty. After an hour, the flame is less warm and less strong- a nice medium flame. It continues to throw off less heat for approximately 3 hrs., not much longer. It ran me in price the same as previous brand, but the other brand had a more predictable flame. It remained more even throughout the burn time. Still worked well and I didn’t have to drag it home. Thanks Amazon.

Decided to try this product as it is cheaper than some of the other brands. I read the reviews and saw some comments about the smell. Five people in my house and none of us noticed any strange or irritating smell at all. Good value.
