Wanted a slicer for a long time.The blades are very sharp so you need to be careful when cleaning, and make sure to keep away from kids, but they do an excellent job.I have been using this to slice deli meats, and so far it has been just what I was looking for. I find if I freeze the meat for 20-30 minutes before slicing I get an even better cut.

The guide plate bends under pressure, so when you push the meat on it, the gap between the guide plate and the blade gets larger, making your cut larger.It's a pain to clean.I suppose it works ok, but the design flaws take away whatever usefulness this thing has. Made cheep

Went to turn it on and it made a grinding sound and had a burning smell

This meat slicer did not work for us. It didn’t spin fast enough to get a good cut on the meat and it kept sucking the meat behind the blade.
