Great rip cut blade for even moderately powered bandsaws
I don't have a great bandsaw - its a generic 14" saw with typical (not great) stock guides and nothing special. These blades allow me to rip a nice clean line through very challenging Manzanita branches and Coastal Oak - slabbing off small planks to make pen blanks from fallen, fire damaged or trimmed branches.Hand guiding a straight line through the center to get started is much easier than other blades I have. Trimming the edge of a piece is equally easy and once working against a fence, it tracks great and the cut is quite clean.Being quite thin, the blade easily cuts through the thicker pieces even without a high powered saw. These blades seem to start tracking smoothly and running true at about the same tension as a 3/8" or 1/2" blade on my saw - so there's no problem achieving enough tension for the wider blade. These blades let me do what I got a bandsaw hoping to do but couldn't until I found these -

Great Resaw blade
This is a great resaw blade. It cut through a 6" x 3' board without any problems. The blade drift was minimal, and I think that was due to me not the blade. The blade is very sturdy and sharp, and is perfect for resawing wide pieces of lumber. I highly recommend this blade for resawing and will definitely purchase it again. However, I don't expect that will be in the near future.

Cuts fast
It seems well made, is straight and true with no bends or twists.

Works great if you don’t overtighten.’m
Bought two of these for my hobby woodworking, exclusively for re-sawing. First one lasted two years; the second lasted two weeks. Didn’t try to return because I must have over tightened it. That’s my warning— Do not overtighten.

Great saw blade, say good bye to Olson
Blade cuts like butter thru hard maple and walnut. I've used olson blades for a long time, never again. I would highly recommend this blade for resawing.

Don't think of it as expensive it actually saves you money
I am by no means a bandsaw expert I am a beginner but I did get my hands on a large Rockwall bandsaw from the 50s this Thing is a Beast! This blade is like nothing I've ever seen it cuts like butter silky smooth on the finish I have absolutely no complaints I highly recommend you buy one I know I will get more and never go back. In my mind I could never justify spending $35 on a blade I could buy for less than 10 at Home Depot but after breaking the third or fourth one in a row from Home Depot I decided to listen to the reviewers that said it is worth the price and I have to say I wholeheartedly agree with them you end up spending more in the long run buying piece of junk blades

It's a Timberwolf
Been using Timberwolf blades for 20 years. They perform well and last a very long time. Giving the blades a Slick Stick lube once in a while makes them really efficient. Never had an issue with weld or brazed teeth but I do de-tension every day.

I am new to this but…
The media could not be loaded. I am not sure what to expect from blades as this is my first time buying one and using a bandsaw. So I followed all the instructions, cleaned the wheel tires, set the bearings, worked with the tension etc. However I still have blade wobble which I assumed was my saw or my knowledge. Also I don’t know what is expected from a bandsaw but this will not pass the “nickle” test. If you look at the video of my turning the wheels by hand there is a reproducible deflection in the blade that is around the point of the weld. Reading online it seems like timber wolf has a great reputation and they don’t have deflection. So either I don’t know what I am doing or the blade is further out than everyone else’s. It cuts through wood like a hot knife through butter, quite impressive. Don’t know about the smoothness of the cut as I don’t know what’s normal.3 starts and not 5 as it seems like others have a very smooth operation. Will change the rating if I find it’s a user error.
