Very flattering, sizing info important
I love this cloak now that i have received it and tried it on but I had a lot of trouble choosing which size would be right based on what other reviews said. For those trying to decide, I am 5'4", 170lbs and my approximate measures are chest 39", waist 35" and hip 42". I bought a large and it fits me just right with little need to cinch up the ties and room to move through the arms and shoulders. The length hits me around the knees so it can be worn with leggings. The fabric feels thick, not see through, and the garment overall has a good weight to it. The color is very nice as well. The hood is deep and flattering around the face and neck area. The sleeves are long but the thumb holes still match up to my hands nicely. There are also belt loops for accessories. The corset ties are not pre laced but it only takes a few minutes to do that. In my opinion I would say this item runs on the smaller side but if you were to size up it is nice to be able to use the ties to bring it in to your shape.I am very happy with this item and can't wait to wear it to Ren Fest.

Cute cloak and so flattering!
This grey cloak was soooo cute and comfortable. It was not super thin, but a good medium thickness jersey shirt that's stretchy and soft. It was so cute especially with the ties at the waist makes it very flattering. I'm 5'10 and 197lbs so sometimes it's hard to find stuff that's long enough for my long torso and because I'm a bigger girl. The thumb holes in the sleeves were awesome too because they actually fit with my longer arms. I might wear this on it's own too. I love the hood. It was Viking Day at our Renaissance Fair and I had 18 hrs to get an outfit together using Amazon's overnight shipping. It's not a total viking looking outfit but I loved the cloak. Unfortunately, I have a brown vest over the cloak so you can't see it all...but it was a great buy and kept me warm on the chilly morning and cool enough in the hotter part of the day.

Cute but hot and itchy
For reference I am 4’11” and 130 lbs and the size small fits great on me. The thumb holes were actually at an ideal position for me because I have short arms, but I can see how with anyone taller it would be an issue. I think it might also not fit as well on someone with a larger chest because the strings on the front go up pretty high. Anyways, as much as I loved how this fit and looked on me I think I’m going to have to return it because the material is way too warm and scratchy for me as someone with severe sensory issues, and I don’t think I could tolerate wearing it for longer than ten minutes let alone for several hours at the renaissance faire!

High quality!
I got this dress for a LARP character I’m going to be playing and it’s perfect! The material is thick and warm, the holes and string for lacing are sturdy, plus it fit perfectly! (5’2” 125lbs, I got a size Small) I’m not sure if I’d recommend wearing this in weather above 70F because the material is thick, but it’s absolutely perfect for cooler/colder weather. I was pleasantly surprised by how high in quality this dress is. 5 stars for sure!

Navy is actually bright blue
I’m 5’4 and 230 pounds I purchased a 2XL in the navy. I think it’s fit nicely on me. I could have gotten away of going down a size but overall it does fit comfortably on me. I’m giving this product 3 stars for 2 reasons* the sleeves are huge. Which is a shame because the concept is cool but they are really long and baggy.* The color. The Navy is actually a bright blue, the sample is incorrect and so is the name of the color. Hopefully the photo helps for anyone interested in the Navy. I have to say I was disappointed when I saw the color, I was expecting a muted dark blue. Not the color of the sky. It’s pretty but not what I wanted.

Perfect for rennaisance fairs, if a little warm
I was hoping to buy a costume that wasn't skin-thin like the cheap chinese-manufactured outfits I often order. This is exactly what I wanted! Not too thin but also just thin enough that it's at least tolerable in warmer weather. In fact it was enough to make me sweat because temperatures out during the fair I attended had been quite warm.It did feel a little big (because reviews said to buy a size up) but otherwise it worked really well for the look I was going for

Love the style, fabric is heavy with a couple of issues with the way it fits
I love the look of this, and I love to wear it.I should have ordered a smaller size, but it feels very cozy and comforting slightly oversized as well so I haven't exchanged it. I ordered an XL because everything I order online tends towards being too small. This is more in line with American sizing, and I really should have stuck to my actual size (M-L). I am 5'9 155lbs. I have very long arms, so I tend to order L in long sleeves, but M in short. The fabric feels nice, but does not breathe and is heavier than I expected. It is best worn when it's cool outside with low humidity. In high humidity it becomes very uncomfortable. I look forward to wearing it in the Fall.I have a couple of issues with the fit.First, the lace-up in the front goes too high by one row so that it does not rest underneath but goes up over my bust (34D) , and the waist is too high in the same manner. I plan on just removing the top eyelets and putting them below the lowest (there is plenty of space until the waist seam for one more row). This should solve the problem of both the bust and the waist being cut too high. The other issue is the sleeves when using the thumb-hole. The sleeves are wonderfully long, something that is rare for a tall woman to find, and that is wonderful! However, the thumb-hole is too far back, and so pulls the sleeve uncomfortably, especially if I lift my arms at all. There is a full 7cm of sleeve left past the very top of the thumb-hole, which means the fabric extends to my fingernail on my pinky, and well past the middle knuckle on my other fingers, and I have longer hands than almost everyone I know. If it's this bad on me, it must completely cover a normal sized hand. I think moving it down further toward the end of the sleeve by 3cm will solve that problem, leaving the sleeve length at just above the bottom knuckles. If not for those slight issues with the fit, I would have rated it 5 stars, no question.

sizing is off
Lovely style and fabric! The only issue is that the Small I ordered is the same as a Med/Lg Canadian size.

Mediocre
I ordered the small as I'm usually a street size 6 or 8. I'm 5'10" and it definitely can't be worn without pants because the front seam just barely goes below my crotch. The sleeves are short, no way I'm using the thumb holes since the bottom of the sleeve sits at my wrist. But it was expected as I often have this problem since I'm tall. The fabric is thinner and cheaper than I thought. Its more sleek than soft and its the type of fabric that feels cheaper on one side. The amount of adjustment was well proportioned as the lacing didn't look distorted. I liked that the hood isn't pointy. More of a costume quality than a daily wear type of quality. Nothing special about it other than the style.
