D4R 8000K 35W Headlight Bulb Replacement Xenon HID Bulb-Pack of 2

As one may imagine, when my 2008 Prius bulbs started going out, the mechanics & dealerships were wanting around $250 for the bulbs, then another 100 to install. After brief counsel with St. YouTube, I discovered these guys. I popped my hood and had both bulbs replaced in 20 minutes. The Prius is a bit tricky & it takes a few practice rounds but once you know what you're doing, smooth sailing.It's been at least 3 months now & everything's still shining bright. I've been telling every Prius owner I know to go with this brand.

These are more blue than I thought, so I got 6k instead. You can see better with the 6k vs these.

These bulbs were dangerously dim when installed in my 2007 Prius. The blurb on the Amazon site says that they are multiple times brighter than the standard issue bulbs. THEY ARE NOT. In fact, the two new bulbs installed in my car performed much more poorly than driving with just the one workable bulb I had after the other one burned out. After a 10 minute checkout drive on a rainy night in Seattle I decided to no longer drive my car at night until the new bulbs are replaced.And, one of the bulbs will not switch from low to high beams. Even if they performed adequately I would have to pay a mechanic to make another replacement.I plan on replacing both new bulbs with the manufacturer approved bulbs. This will cost me another $100. Learn from my expensive lesson and don't buy these bulbs for a 2007 Prius.

I highly recommend this product for its reliability and its price advantage over the bulbs that are sold through the car dealership, who typically charges for $80 per bulb easily. Here it comes with two bulbs for a much much cheaper price. The bulbs come with a hard plastic protective cover and they are well package. I installed the bulb in my 2006 Prius and installation was a challenge but doable. I can’t install the driver’s side bulb due to the tiny space near the small bulb housing area.

Lasted 7 months, I’m not sure if that’s normal or not but it seemed pretty short.

These lights were not as bright as the originals but I expected that based on the price. These light bulbs were no more or less difficult to replace than any other brand of bulb. I prefer working on my Honda over the Toyota that's for sure. My chief complaint is that they only lasted a year.

Was quoted $250 for this headlight at a parts store. Thankfully checked online on amazon, and this was substantially cheaper. They are exactly as described, and fit my 2007 PRIUS like a dream. Very bright! Will be buying more in the future when my light has expired in the next few years.
