MINKA-AIREF843-DK, Wave, 52" Ceiling Fan, Distressed Koa with Remote and Additional Wall Control

I love the look of this fan. Much more interesting than all the usual paddle fans with flat blades. Easy to install over the desk in my home office. Moves a lot of air which is helpful when I have all my zoom lights on baking me during calls. Some others have commented about the noise but it is absolutely not a factor for me. Sure it makes a little noise, and almost made me consider a different fan but I'm glad I didn't. I've got it humming over my head and use a speaker phone directly below the fan and there is no issue with sound on my calls. After five seconds you don't even consciously hear it. I also got a 12" down rod to use in my tiny office with 9' ceilings. Wanted to be able to move a lot of air to keep me cool. Perfect height. Bottom line, I'm very happy with this fan and glad I bought it.

It looks great and ran well although a little noisier than advertised. Only run in the warm months and had off for the past month as not needed. Went to turn on last night and could hear motor running but blades not turning. If put on the highest setting (3) then ran but only at a speed of (2). Any of the other speeds just made it stop. For this price of fan we shouldn't have this problem having run it about 6 months total.Will try to reach manufacturer to see how their customer support is.

The fan is attractive, quiet, and does a great job circulating the air to really cool the room. We are very pleased with the two fans we purchased for two bedrooms.

Like other Minka no light fans installation is easy except for installation of blades which is mot difficult part. All other steps in installation are standard fan installation process. Didn't install wall unit as fan is in bedroom where a remote is easier to control fan from bed. Nice looking fan in tray ceiling.

Adding a visual instructions guide would be more helpful. We had to consult a YouTube how-to-video to install properly. Not made of real wood, but the brushed paint looks very authentic.

Love this fan! I had one on my old house and have purchased two for my new house (one with light and one without). Really high end look (especially for the price).Great air flow. Only issue is if you have two in rooms close together, remote control controls the wrong fan. Trying to figure that out with my electrician.

I have several Minka ceiling in my home and I enjoy all of them.Unfortunately, this fan started making noise within a few days after using it.In addition, I made the mistake of not installing the fan until almost 2 months after I received it. So, now it can’t be returned or serviced.That’s a hard $300.00 lesson to learn.

Cute but not so great quality. Wish I could return it. The thumping noise is intrusive and annoying. It was fine for several weeks. We use on low only so no reason for this to be so out of balance
