how far can it go under water?

This watch is not designed for submersion in water. If you want a watch that is designed for swimming and skin diving get one that is marked "water resist" 100m (or 10 bar), or more of course. The watch will have seals designed to keep the water out. Do not operate the crown on push buttons while the watch is submerged or wet. If a watch only shows "water resist", "water resist 30m" or "water resist 50m" it may not survive when you hit the water a bit hard, like when diving into a pool, which would exceed the 3 bar pressure the watch is designed to survive.

what size wrist does this fit (in inches)?

the band, excluding buckle is 8.5 inches, i use the 5th hole from watch, with plenty of room to slide on my wrist. There are 11 holes altogether. I am adult male.
