I spent entirely too long researching this type product and ended up with this brand. It works well on the camera on the main screen. The back camera is another story but that all has to do with the case. I will say that I am not a person who puts my phone in my pocket often so this is really a non issue for me, but the little slide piece does come off SUPER EASY. This is definitely an issue if you put it in a fitted pocket. I have had the slide come off a few times. Its easy to pop it back on, if you can find it, that is.

I wanted to like these, I really did. The concept is quite nifty - simply slide the cover closed to physically block the camera lens. I gleefully opened the package and pushed the covers firmly against my laptop and cell phone (because, you know, I read the reviews and they said the covers don't stick). The one on the cell phone dislodged very quickly. I thought perhaps this is because the cell phone doesn't have a lot of protection and something scraped against it in my purse. However, after a couple of days, the one on my laptop fell off! I don't put the laptop in my pocket, and I certainly don't put the open laptop in my purse, either! Why, oh why doesn't it stick???My recommendation: Skip the fancy sliding cover, save the frustration, and go back to the good ol' tried-and-true sticker solution. Better yet, cut a small piece of a Post-It note for easy removal and repositioning. The Post-It actually sticks better than this 'permanent' cover. I'm giving this two stars because it's a great concept, but a great concept isn't very useful if it just doesn't stick.

These are pretty easy to put on, you just have to align them because it's a sticky back. They are very thin. When you slide them over it leaves the backside open which is nice because the backside covers my phone speaker. But it makes no difference when I have them closed. Check them once in a while because I have a tendency to slide back. They do not lock in place. Buy one or two more than you need in case you make a mistake. I had one break on me, but it was my fault. On my phone I had to put one on the phone under my case, but they are still usable that way. I looked at the metal magnet ones but they are too thick, and if they touch another metal a magnet will come off. I'm happy they're better than using stickers.

There's not much you can say about these except that they are easy to install and they work great. This is a super way to be able to cover and uncover a webcam painlessly. Very pleased with how these work. I was a bit afraid they would interfere with closing my Dell Inspiron and my Apple MacBook Pro, but they didn't.Let Amazon donate to your favorite charity! I didn't realize these come in a 6-pack so now I have 30 webcam covers to hand out. hahaThe tension is non-existent so it slides open when I close and reopen my laptop. Might have to tape after all which defeats the purpose. I don't want to have to think about it.Doesn't work at all for smartphone (Samsung Galaxy Note 10+) because front cam is on the touchscreen and back cam is too large. This aspect did not affect my review for obvious reasons, just a heads up for other purchasers.

Comes in a small, plastic box, with three each in a zip lock bag inside. Very small and very thin. Fit my two Dell Inspiron laptops so well they are both barely noticeable. Lid closes without issue. Took some time getting them correctly seated and had to re-seat one, but they can be easily removed and moved. A bit pricey, but I took into consideration the reviews against others available. Glad I chose this one. Definitely recommend.
