My wife lived in the UK and NZ for a combined decade, she still eats certain things from her life abroad. We ordered the Bachelor’s Beans as a curiosity to see how they compared to Hienz. And I was rewarded with a product I prefer a lot more. I like the flavor, there’s just more of it, don’t know how else to describe it. Heinz taste a tad bit bland in comparison. I will be ordering these beans for breakfasts moving forward.UPDATE: 11/3/22 We ordered 2 more cases of these beans. 1 case came in pristine condition, the other had several cans that looked punctured through and through. Beans were everywhere, but the outside box they were in was undamaged…don’t know what was up with that. Had to call Amazon customer service because even though the listing said the brand were returnable/refundable they were not according to the online submission form. Customer service was great, am getting full refund for the bad case and I don’t need to send it back. Still staying 5 stars because Amazon sorted everything out without any hassle. Still love the beans, will still buy. Just know that if it comes damaged you might have to call Amazon customer service to get it sorted.

Our family growing up in Ireland loved these beans and as a surprise I sent them to my sister, made her so happy! They are so tasty and bring back happy memories of been around the table with my siblings eating beans on toast

These are the best baked beans hands down. Although the 12 pack had a layer of bubble wrap 6 of the cans were badly dented. This was obviously due to rough handling in the Amazon shipping and delivery. chain. Recommend the seller pack them in a box with several inches of thick firm packing top, bottom and all sides.

I know it is a matter of taste but normally I buy the Heinz Baked Beans (England). These aren't your cheap pork n beans. Batchelors, like the British Heinz beans, are a meal unto themselves. I highly recommend both. I have ordered these particular beans from the merchant twice. The first time everything was a-okay and they were very well packaged. The second time, they seemed packaged okay, but most of the cans were deeply dented. However, working with the merchant I was able to get a quick resolution on the dented cans. So ultimately you should buy these and enjoy beans the British/Irish way.

I’m a Heinz baked bean guy, always have been, always will be. However, during the Covid 19 pandemic, all of the US stores I know carry them ran out for several weeks. I was at my wits end, as I’m addicted to having Beans on Toast on weekend mornings, so I decided to do some research and found these. They are a little more expensive than going to a store and picking up Heinz but for what I was looking for, I have to say they were excellent and definitely give Heinz a run for their money. If Heinz ever run out again, I will not hesitate buying again. Great service, came much quicker than expected.
