Perfect
I never write reviews, but would like to comment on this. The execution on this bit of hardware is unusually good. From the little box it comes in to the design and engineering, it's a very class act. •• I'm 6'2" and have long hands; the X-T20 tries hard to get things right, but its minimal philosophy had me pressing buttons inadvertently and my grip felt cramped. This might have sorted itself out over time, but I thought I'd try a thumb grip. I looked very hard at the pictures, and felt the Lensmate was not reaching over to the right of the camera enough. I had a preconception that a thumb grip should add a pressure point for the top of my thumb to the existing pressure point on the camera that my thumb nuckle engages. •• So I bought it with reservations, and even ordered a much cheaper one that reaches over slightly more. Indeed, when the Lensmate came in, I was disappointed; the pressure point is directly behind the Auto switch, far over to the left of a point in line with the camera's grip. In effect, Lensmate is ignoring the camera's grip and taking a different ergonomic path. I was surprised to find that with a little use, the Lensmate feels just right. What it does is open my hand up some by having my thumb reach to the left. This means my hand is no longer wanting to push various buttons and sending me to menu items just when I want to compose a picture. It also relieves the cramp. I've paired the Lensmate with a wrist strap; the little X-T20 now feels as secure as if I was grabbing my larger DSLR. •• The details on the Lensmate are perfect: a rubber pad under the thumb gives traction, and a little bumper pad that rests against the camera gives it solidity. Yet another rubber pad gives the hot-shoe plate some stick against the contacts. The thing never even hints it wants to move around. •• The Lensmate does not add dimension in any practical way, so the X-T20 retains its pocketability with a pancake lens. It also does not get in the way of any dials or buttons, for me. I highly recommend this item, it's worth every cent of the price difference and more.

Fits nice and tight and will not fall off just by ...
This thumb grip is a must have with these cameras. There are cheaper ones on the market but this one is quality made to last. There is rubber on the thumb rest and rubber on the bottom part that goes into the hot shoe. Fits nice and tight and will not fall off just by chance. The biggest benefit is when shooting vertical. Your thumb and other fingers support the weight of the camera leaving your pointer finger light and lose on the shutter button.

Not for left eye shooters
I used to be right eye shooter until I lost the vision in my right eye and became introduced to new ergonomic considerations. I used the Lensmate thumbgrip on my Fuji X100S and consider it an essential, 5-star accessory. It works for me because the eyepiece is in the far corner from the thumbgrip and gives a lot of space between them that easily accommodates my nose and my right thumb. Not so with the XT30. The thumbgrip attaches right above the viewfinder. As a left eye shooter that means that both my thumb and my nose have to go to the right of the viewfinder. The knuckle of my thumb rests on the bridge of my nose between my eyes and the thumb and my nose fight for space. It becomes very awkward to use the eyepiece. If you ONLY use the back of of the camera you get a solid grip that facilitates one-handed operation. Reluctantly, I will return mine.

Buy this before paying for an accessory hand grip
I bought this for the Fuji X-T20. I have typical adult male size 'large' hands. The Fuji X-T20 was just too uncomfortably small for me to hold. So i bought both the hand grip and this thumb grip. I find this thumb grip contributes much more to providing that sense of a safer and more comfortable hold on the camera than the hand grip accessory does. I'd recommend getting one of the 'soft release' shutter buttons as well. That allows you to then cradle the camera more closely in your palm (rather than by the finger tips). Doing this, you then naturally place the top of the shutter release button at the fold of your index finger's first digit rather than at the end of your index finger. The thumb grip is beautifully engineered and the little silicone inserts do help to make it even more comfortable and grippy. To me, the price of it is ridiculously high for what it is. I think a more 'fair' price might be $30-$35. But it IS perfectly engineered for the task it performs. And in the absence of a better competitor's option, what can we do?

Fits my X-T30
This fit securely on my X-T30, which was purchased in April of 2021. My hands are a little larger than average and this made the camera feel more secure while holding it.

Well made and well THOUGHT OUT!
Lensmate thumb grips and shutter buttons are the best bar none! The thumb grip is designed without the need for a set screw to fit perfectly and there is a buffer pad between the thumb rest and the body to relieve any stress on the hot shoe. That's a superb design for which you pay a bit extra but so well worth it!

Perfect Fit!
Perfect fit! shouldn’t have waited months to get it. I don’t even have to use wrist straps for my x-t20 now. Highly recommended 👍

Fits Fuji T30 Perfectly
Good tight fit. Really helps with the stupid placement of the Q button on the T30 which I hit accidentally - regularly. Kind of pricey, but really good quality. And really needed on the T30.
