I initially bought this set for my three-year-old grandson to play with at my home. First time the set was taken out of the box, my four-year-old grandson joined in the fun and it became apparent from their long periods of building and playing that another set would increase their fun. Soon after the second set arrived, my eight-year-old grandson joined in the fun of building, which expanded from cars and trucks to creative gardens on wheels with fountains. However, all three grandsons seemed to need the same pieces at the same time, limiting the creativity and play. Yes, there were opportunities for learning how to share, but still the creativity was being limited. Knowing the relationship between creativity and brain development, of course I bought a third set. The basket holding all three sets is the "go to" when they arrive at my home. I like this set because it appeals to a broad age range, 3-8, and, as such, is a great relationship building activity for all three boys. I also like that the pieces are easy to assemble into the vehicles pictured on the box, and the variety of colors and shapes encourage creativity beyond the box pictures. Thank you for this wonderful building set! Our three sets will likely be passed on to the next generation.

I ordered one, then a few weeks later, ordered another one for the same grandchild for even more cars to build, because he can't stop playing with this toy. He's almost 4 years old, loves cars and trucks and loves to build things, so this toy takes care of both. I have also played with it (I also love it!) and have not seen any problems with pieces not fitting together. I do agree with the already mentioned comments that it would be nice to have something on both ends of the cars so that you can attach them all together into a train, but, I guess they are actually cars and trucks and not train cars, so the manufacturer did not think of this childhood desire when initially designing it. The second box came wet on one side, probably from standing in a rain puddle somewhere in transit, but this is the fault of Amazon's shipping and delivery people, not the seller's.

My four year old loves that he can make his own unique vehicles with this set! The pieces fit well with the Duplos we have. The box indicates that there are 6 vehicle bases but we only received 5. The kit was also missing the hose attachment.

A really fun product for a good price. My 4 1/2 year old grandson is "totally" into Lego type building so this seemed a natural fit...WAS IT EVER!!! He was here yesterday, and I gave the box to him. He did nothing else but play with this until he went home 6 hours later. He's a "stickler" for following instructions, so he first made EVERY vehicle shown on the box, before experimenting with his own concoctions. Of course, he merged the 60 pieces with his other box of these type of blocks, so he "blasted" away, built tall buildings with wheels, and every other thing his young imagination could come up with.Pop pop is again a hero to young Christian!!!!

I was pleasantly surprised how durable and easy these blocks are to play with. We were celebrating a sixth year old birthday and needed cars to race on a racetrack we had built. The set has six car bases ( the wheels move perfectly...no sticking) you can built a variety of different styles of vehicles. After receiving the first two sets, I ordered two more.! At the time I ordered the price was very reasonable.! The party theme was LEGOS, but these were far more affordable and no one had any idea that they weren’t. We put the vehicles together, took a picture, then took them apart and placed them in bags with the picture. Each guest were able to built their own vehicle and race them on our track.!!

Perfect if your kids are just getting into Lego. Bigger pieces means it's easier for them to work with and clean up. If your kids are also into cars, they can build their own.
