My 4 year old twins loved this toy. Played with it all day on their birthday. They needed help to transform it. But loved to play with it as the car and as bumblebee. Instructions were a little hard to read. And sometimes hard to get all the parts into place perfectly to be the car. But with 9 steps it's a perfect first time transformer toy.

A couple reviews are incorrect in saying that you can't transform it properly. This is wrong. To start the transformation, you need to rotate the hands inward. Then the car collapses and the back of the car fits into the tabs. The hood also closes just fine but you have to realize that there are tiny tabs that the car must fit into itself with. If you miss the tabs it will always be loose and it will appear like it won't fit together right. If this is happening, you're doing it wrong.. Part of the charm of a transformer is that only the child who owns the transformer knows how to transform it. This one fits the bill. It's a good rendering of the real bumblebee. Also note that there are different Hasbro series. "Deluxe" "Scout" "Ultra" etc... These all refer to different sizes of transformers so make sure you get the robots in the same series so you're not getting mis-sized robots.

Neat toy… they also play with it in the car transformation with the motor in it, you press it down and it goes! Easier for the kids to transform it though, it just makes us adults look silly!🤪

I bought this for my son for his birthday. He likes the Bumblebee movie. Problem is it is super difficult to transform. I loved transformers as a kid but I never had this much trouble with one. It's been a week and I still can't get it fully turned into the car form. There is a quarter inch gap in the center, and if I try to force it closed any harder I think it will break. Not sure if mine is defective or if I just am missing a step. **** Update **** I figured out that the problem was I needed to rotate the hands inward before transforming him into car mode. I also discovered that the little motor that can be added will allow him to propel forward a little ways when you push a little lever down. All in all, it's a really cool toy. Definitely a little tricky, but cool.

We bought this as a cake topper for our 5 year old son's bday cake. He loves transformers and have every Bumblebee action figure we can find. The toy washed up just imagine and is now added to the "Bumblebee" collection. He plays with it a lot, rough and it is holding up... not like the other transformers I've purchased where the pieces fall of while the kids try to transform it. The little toy that came with it is cool too, he also plays with that. Nice to have a change with Bumblebee having a companion.

Broke faster than my kid’s attention span. The foot rails gave out within the first hour, and at this rate, the arms and hood are next in line for early retirement. It looks cool once assembled, but durability clearly wasn’t part of the design brief. Great idea, poor execution. Nothing turns playtime into parent frustration faster than a toy that can’t survive a six-year-old.

If you have a young child that likes Transformers but has trouble transforming them....this is a great toy to resolve that issue! It’s easy for young kids to transform on their own. My son is 7 and he loves not having to ask me to help transform it like he used to with others I purchased before.

Update: It actually does fit together, you just need so swivel the hands up and that will give it the space needed to connect the front and the back. Changed my review to 5 stars. My son loves this toy, however, converting it in to a car is a not so great. There's a gap in the middle of the car that does not (cannot) connect. Unfortunate flaw, perhaps it's just ours??

Delivered well within date, for some reason, my grandson thought it was for him, & despite arm wrestling him, he has kept it. He's very pleased with it & was carrying out some very complicated games involving Bumble Bee & Optimus Prime. Very Happy as this means I can play with his other toys now

This was a Christmas gift for a nephew that is very difficult to buy for so i was very pleased that he LOVED it. It was sold out everywhere that I checked except on your site!

Great for kids birthday

La ideas es bonita, no es tal cual la pelicula en donde estan sus partes, pero tiene buen aspecto. Le hace falta su logo 🤭. No logré que cerrará (despues de 3 días logre que cerrara por completo) y el motocito si se mueve un poco en seguida se desajusta. No estoy segura si un niño de 6 lo disfrutaria armar, yo no lo disfrute ya que al final no me encajó todo. A mi peque le encanta volverlo robot El cochesito es hermoso aun que no logre cerrarlo. (Al final si quedo todo bien convertido en auto) De robot da mucho que desear, pero la fantasia no se pierde.
