Charger works great with my older laptop. Apple wanted three times the price for their charger. Quality of build isn't quite as good as original but still in line with expectations. The transformer is even compatible with the original Apple cord which saves room at the receptacle since you don't have to plug the transformer directly into the wall. Would buy again.

This is not a genuine OEM product and for my use, that's just fine. The "official" OEM charger costs three times as much. This is the third charger we had to buy (the other two were OEM) that the cables failed. This charger works perfectly with my 2013 Macbook Pro. So, even if it lasts half as long as those we still saved a bunch of money. I will definitely buy one of these again when the need arises. Great charger for the price.

Although I still use the original AC adapter at home, I want a second adapter for travel and the OEM I'd purchased 12 month ago was unreliable. I decided to take a chance on the off-brand for half the price of OEM figuring if it died in 6 months then I was no worse off. So far so good.The adapter arrived quickly and in good condition. The wall plug was recalcitrant to flip out or close so I did swap it out for my old Apple wall plug. Fits fine.When I plugged the adaptor in, the green light came on and it fully charged my 2008 Unibody just fine and without getting unduly warm.I'll try to update my review in a few months or if I notice a problem.

I like that this product is not as pricey as others, and that it charges up the laptop with no problems. It's a nice replacement that saves customers a lot of money, and frustration from being able to use their laptop. The one thing that is not to my liking is the prongs can go upward into the charger. This is what lead my last charger to break, but I will know to treat it more delicately than I have before. Overall it's a great item, and a nice price compared to some of the other competition out there. I would recommend this product to people who are in need of a replacement, and don't want to fork over their paycheck.

Functions exactly like the Apple product at about 25% of the cost. It looks essentially the same without the Apple logo. Save your money and buy this instead of the Apple version. Speaking of, the Apple version wasn't particularly durable. I've never had a power cord fail before, but the Apple one started fraying and eventually severed. This generic one should last just as long if not longer.

I bought this charger because I wanted an extra charger for my MacBook Pro laptop to take on the go, so I could leave my original (Apple) charger set up at home. It works perfectly. I can't notice any difference with how it charges vs. my Apple charger. The connector is very secure (magnetic), and it has a light indicator to show when it's charging (amber) and when it's fully charged (green), exactly like the Apple charger! A nice bonus surprise is that it has a nice Velcro cord wrap. So far, so good! Great price.

I wanted a charger for my old Macbook but I didn't want to spend an exorbitant amount of money. My Mac Book was old and I wasn't sure it was the charger or the macbook that was damaged. Sure enough, it was the charger. So this was a great replacement! The chord is a lot longer than the original. Also it is more durable.

When my original Macbook Pro charger died about 3 years ago I found a cheap alternative on Amazon for about $15 (As opposed to the $75 or whatever a replacement charger by Apple costs), that looked a little sketchy but worked great til it gave out a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't find that model this time, but instead came across this one which actually looks identical to the original Apple one. It came in a day with Prime, and I have been using it for the past two or three weeks with no trouble at all (it just gets kind of hot if plugged in for awhile, so remember to unplug it when you're done charging).
