This is one of those books you cannot get on Kindle. Every page is a work of art, full of pop-up discoveries that unfold with the story...most pages have more than one reveal. I haven't read or heard of this fable/myth before so was excited to find out more. It definitely feeds my inner child! At the same time, the paper art is fairly intricate, so I wouldn't give it to a young child.

I saw the ad on Instagram, as a Persian I felt the need to get this collectible item, as a skeptic of online shopping, I got one just to check the quality, got it in 2 days w/ free shipping (not prime member) the book exceeded my expectation and the level of attention to detail and artistry is beyond describing. Most pages have extra siding that opens and surprises you with yet another spectacular design & art. I'd highly recommend getting this collectible item and mesmerize your eyes on this perfection. when I received the first one, I fell in love with it and immediately ordered the second one for my sister. Since then I ordered 6 as gift and everyone loved it. It is a masterpiece of old epic Shahnameh combined with a detailed and amazing art of pop-up! It worth much more than the price that is offered here. I would have given 10 star if I could. Thank you for such an amazing work!

I am reading Shahnameh - The Persian Book of Kings through an on-line book club and someone posted that this book was available. It appeared to be a colorful pop-up edition of one of the stories in the Shahnameh so I ordered it. I am amazed at the intricate artwork and how the pop-ups make the story come alive for me! It is truly a beautiful work of art, probably the most interestiing and unique book in my extensive library. I will treasure it!

This book is amazing!! I cannot put into words the astonishing craftsmanship and the talent put into making this amazing piece. I have already purchased 4 and will be buying more as gifts. I actually bought this book last year in June and it was finally released in October 2018, it was worth the wait!! And just as beautiful as I imagined it. It is mindblowing how inexpensive they are selling it, please raise the price!! I will happily pay more. Thank you for your service to our culture.

This is an amazing book! I just got mine today and planning to give it to my 9 year old daughter as a Christmas gift. It is an art masterpiece with interesting persian tale from Shahnameh. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in persian culture specially, immigrant parents who want their children learn more about persian tales and their heritage.

Beautifully illustrated book. Could not put down! Growing up as an Iranian-American and not knowing how to read Farsi too well, this book allowed me to become deeper with my culture. I would love to read more stories from Shanameh and I am glad I stumbled upon this book. Lots of time was taken to write and create this beauty and it is very appreciated.

el libro me ha gustado mucho, es un trabajo precioso muy elaborado y completo, la única pega es que una de las piezas llegó rota, aunque he podido arreglarlo, no he reclamado porque, en este caso, no merecía la pena el tiempo perdido, pero no me gusta la sensación que produce haber pagado por un producto nuevo y que llega sin su envoltura original y con algunos desplegables torcidos por un mal uso y otro roto

Bellissimo volume! La manifattura è eccellente, le illustrazioni son incantevoli e la qualità di stampa è ottima. I meccanismi che presenta son molto complessi ed intricati, per questo lo catalogherei come un volume da collezione destinato principalmente ad adulti ed appassionati di pop-up, sconsigliato per i bambini a meno della co-presenza di un genitore. Le rifiniture (in special modo il posizionamento delle piume) credo sian state effettuate a mano, cosa che mi ha lasciata piacevolmente sorpresa data la fascia di prezzo in cui si posiziona. Un volume così deliziosamente confezionato è un evento più unico che raro, v'è stata davvero una grandissima cura nella sua realizzazione! Complimenti agli autori!
