Size matters!!!
My wife was recently put on a low sodium diet. So we now have two kinds of butter. The butter dish we had was smaller, for the smaller sticks. We had butter all over and beings that it was clear glass, looked like, well you know, all the time. With this dish, the butter fits and looks great, hidden under the lid. Looks good too, on the outside.

Doesn’t hold the wider sticks of butter.
This butter dish was very cute but I was looking for a butter dish that held the kerygold butter sold as Costco. This one did not so I had to return it.

It was beautiful, but I had to return it because it arrived broken.

Pretty but when opened there appears to be a corner that didn’t get painted completely.
