Franko's Guide Map of the Republic of Palau

Great asset, loaded with information
It's not like you can just go and grab a map of Palau from AAA or a gas station, and especially given that, this is a very nice map. It's loaded with information -- cultural stuff, stuff on nature sites, and (maybe most importantly) stuff on dive sites. It's very local information, and will definitely give tourists a leg-up. It's not a guide book, but there isn't really a guide book. The material is high quality and feels like it's probably pretty waterproof, or at least resistant (I don't plan to dunk it to find out, at least not on purpose). I wouldn't be too worried to take it on a dive boat. The road map part itself isn't the best in terms of map features, but, to be fair, that's not really necessary in Palau.

Helpful but...
Great overview of the islands and even the reefs and fish. But it's now a little outdated on road info due to some recent roadwork being done. If you use it to guide a drive on the main island, give yourself some extra time to accomodate changes in the roadways but definitely get out there. It's not solely about the diving!

My husband worked there for a while as a diver instructor. This brought back memories for him.

Palau
Good map of the region. We drove the main 3 islands. Roads often don't have signs so it is a little confusing. Compass might help along with this map.

Compact information!
This little map covers most basic information you need to know if your primary purpose of the trip to Palau has to do with nature. Only one hotel was missing from the map otherwise it seemed very thorough.
