Fantastic car starter! For the price you can't beat it. I bought one for each of my cars! The best part is is that you don't need an additional FOB to use it. It works right along with the original key FOB that you vehicle came with which was a huge plus for me. No bulky key ring in my pocket. You just hit the lock button three times and your car will start and stay on for 15 minutes then it shuts off. You can start it right back up after the 15 minutes if its extremely hot or cold outside. I have kids and it was the perfect solution to not have my kids getting into an extremely cold or hot car. It's great in the summer or winter! Before you get out of your car just turn the heat or air on full blast and you'll have a toasty warm car or a nice cool car waiting for you. It works so well i bought one for each of my cars and with the easy instructions, I had both installed in under an hour! You wont get a price like this for a quality product from a car dealer. If you have a few extra minutes in your day, you can easily install this remote start with very little effort!

I ordered this during the busy holiday season and it arrived in a timely manner. The product itself is great. Literally plug and play very simple to program. The hardest part is trying to run and and zip tie your wires and the unit under the dash where it doesn't rattle or affect anything else. It works as described. Press your lock button three times on your factory remote and it starts. You can press the brake three times if you need to turn it off for some reason. Otherwise, it's supposed to keep your vehicle running and locked for up to 15 minutes I believe. Once you have the vehicle running you just unlock it step in insert the key and turn it to the run position and drive off. You cannot beat the price and if you're do it yourselfer like myself who doesn't trust anyone messing with your vehicle this is perfect. As far as longevity of the product I cannot say much. Perhaps I will come back in a year or so and post an update. I installed it onto a 2014 Wrangler Unlimited.

It wasn't just that this didn't work for my 2014 Jeep Compass that I bought it for and was said to work for, the device wouldn't power up or light up at all when plugged in and installed under the steering wheel (the instructions are pretty simple and I even tested the wires on the harness they sent with a multi-meter to ensure I was getting proper voltage from the battery, it's not that I was incompetent). I contacted E&B about the issue and they provided me a phone # of their "tech guy, JR" who could help me out they said. After repeated phone calls and voice mails over a 2 week period with no response I sent another email to E&B (3rd email to them now because the listed phone # on amazon seems to get you no where as well) to request a replacement device as a last act of good will and they completely stopped responding to me, seemingly in hopes that I would move on and they would keep my money. Returning device for full refund. DO NOT BUY if you are looking for any sort of support from this company. Maybe yours will work, maybe not. Mine didn't and they did not seem to GAF!

I bought this in Sept. 2015 and installed it in to my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 4.7L.Installation was super easy!!! You'll notice two large plugs on the wiring harness, those are the only two you'll need. There is a 4 wire connection on the remote start next to the white connection, take that off before you hook up to the ignition. Tape off all the wires not needed together. Remote start comes factory uploaded so you will not need to buy the part to connect to your home computer to upload the latest firmware. YouTube has a video of the 08 Ram being installed with this remote start, but it's in Russian, still while watching you can see what and how he's doing it. For the instruction sheet, there's a separate piece of paper with a code on it's the same code on the harness, go off that in the instruction booklet. Customer service is top notch per a friend who called them while installing his on a 2010 Silverado. If you're debating whether or not to get it, I say get it!!! Super easy and I should've done this along time ago!!!!

I installed this on my wife's 2015 Jeep Wrangler. After using it for a while and comparing it to the factory remote start on my 2012 Ram, I've made a few observations.The pros:*It's easy to install. All in all it took maybe 20 minutes.*It's way cheaper than the OEM remote start units.*It uses the factory key fob.*It remote starts my Jeep.The cons:*It is difficult to hit that "sweet spot" with the lock button. If you hit the lock button (x3) too slow or too fast, it won't start the vehicle.*There is a HUGE delay before it starts the car. It's a good 20 seconds where you wonder, "Did I do it right?" And often by the time it finally starts, I've walked across the parking lot to a hot/cold car. In comparison, my truck starts immediately and is ready to go by the time I get in.*Because it uses the factory key fob, the range sucks. You literally have to be on top of the car before it will respond. In comparison I can start my truck from around 100 yards away.*I'm thinking that by upgrading to the factory remote start key fob (3 button fob), you can program it to start with the remote start button instead of hitting the lock button 3 times. That might solve the range/difficulty to use problems, but I'm not sure. I know you can program it to a separate remote start fob, but I don't think it's really practical to carry around an entirely separate fob on your key ring.All in all, I have to say it was pretty disappointing. It does start the vehicle, if you really need that functionality. However it has some technical shortcomings that almost make it useless for day to day use. My motto is usually "buy once cry once" and this is one of those instances where I wish I had just spent a little more money on OEM parts.
