Probably THE best book on writing I’ve read since Stephen King’s book, On Writing!!

As a writer I found this book very insightful. It explains why we write and tell our stories. And it opens up possibilities for new stories to be birthed.

I really appreciated all that Sue Monk Kidd shared—about her life, her craft, and her process. I just came to love her even more through this book.

Wonderful read. Transparent, thoughtful and helpful for those of us who love to write. I loved the stories behind many of Sue Monk Kidd's books.

I bought this book as soon as it was released and I read it cover to cover in two or three sittings. As a writer, Sue's experience and advice is so inspiring and comforting at the same time. It takes an enormous amount of passion and focus to make a lifelong career out of story telling and to be so beloved and respected as an author is an incredible achievement. I highly recommend this book to anyone hoping to write and all of us who are already hard at work at our storytelling.

I love Sue Monk Kidd and her books and have enjoyed listening to this craft book on Audible. And listening again to some parts. So good.
