Longhorn Gun Safe by Rhino Metals, LSB2418 Home & Office Security Safe, Cabinet Safe with Electronic Lock, 60 Minutes Fire Protection, 130lbs

Ordered this safe on Sunday and it arrived Tuesday. The outer box looked rough but the safe was fine inside. I ordered this safe mainly for the fire proofing and moderate security, I've looked it over pretty close the welds look nice and my door seems aligned fine and feels secure. The interior has some plastic parts were broken but the shelf was easy to install. The combo was easy to set and the instructions are pretty clear. It did not come with a battery (9v) The best part is it really looks good, like a decent piece of furniture, so it doesn't have to be hidden in a closet. It does weigh over a hundred pounds, I live in a condo so I can't bolt it to the floor. If you need a document safe and a safe to keep pistols away from kids this will work fine. I bought it here on Amazon but it's on sale on the Rhino website cheaper, but I didn't check on the shipping.

Box showed up absolutely destroyed. Literally destroyed. Let's say, "Rhino" who didn't even make this cheap POS didn't need to make it look used and vintage.To my utter surprise and rage, it is Made in China. All these stupid bearded operator Social Media ads, saying "support American made products made by vets" and they outsourced their junk. Seriously pissed but thankfully I didn't buy the $5,000+ one I was gonna buy after this. Seriously, if you want a better safe for 1/5th the price. Hit up Walmart. This is a joke.

Safe showed up looking like it had been kicked around by UPS all day. Keypad hanging off, scratches everywhere, fireproofing dust on absolutely everything. Not really sellers fault. However the door closed moves a lot, not even close to a tight seal. Not sure how secure this actually is. Finally this safe is MADE IN CHINA. Has multiple stickers on it. Not american made.Cheap crap not worth $600. Sending back and buying American.

Exactly as described. It’s a miniature version of the American made Rhino Ironworks 6030 I bought earlier this year. I can’t tell any difference in the quality. It’s not super loaded with features but it’s well built and looks great. Didn’t have any damage to it when I opened the package. I ordered on Monday evening and had it by Thursday afternoon!My only complaints are the locking mechanism has a small delay when you enter the code, about a second later you’ll hear the motor unlock the action. Not a huge deal, but this safe is specifically meant to store my carry pistol and will be used for a home defense pistol in my bedroom. So speed is important.The other, this safe should have some foam feet installed from the factory. I put some on but not until after I saw it do some decent damage to my wood floors when I slid it about a foot. Left some indentations and scracthes in the wood.

Box was completely destroyed when it arrived, the safe was damaged in multiple places, did not have the shelving pegs and the whole safe was super dusty like it's been sitting in a desert for awhile....not satisfied, buy locally if your getting one of these.After getting this product the way I did, I'm not confident at all that it will protect any of my belongings.

Using this for ammo storage only as a safety measure in case of fire. Not sure I’d store anything really valuable in it

Do not buy this safe. The safe will arrive destroyed. Not worth the money. My safe arrived with the box opened and the bottom of the safe was exposed, which defeats the purpose of it being a safe. Avoid this product.
