Works well, heat output is perfect.
The heat comes on incredibly quickly, and is very well maintained, in both the soldering iron and the heat gun. It’s a definite plus that putting the heat gun back on its cradle turns the airflow and heat off very quickly. Soldering my buck converters to 18650 cases and then connecting to raspberry pi computers was quick and efficient. Haven’t used for anything else yet, but that’s because I’m waiting on backordered parts. The heat gun has also helped in removing some stubborn adhesive on a few things.

YOU MIGHT ASW WELL SPEND A FEW MORE BUCKS AND GET A BETTER ONE
THE UNIT IS A LARGE BOX FOR DISPLAY VERYLIGHT WEIGHT NOT MUCH TO IT NO GUTS IF YOU WILL! THE CORDS ARE MADE OF POOR MATERIAL AND THE SOLDEREING IRON TOOK A DUMP ON ME 30 DAYS AFTER I PURCHASED IT RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF AN IMPORTANT BUILD,IW ILL TRY AND SEE IF THEY HAVE A REPLACEMENT IRON ,IF NOT I WILL RETURN IT!

Works great for through-hole and SMD
All features work well. Photo makes the soldering iron holder look awkward but it actually sits in there like a normal holder. Be sure to test the temperatures since they might be different from other equipment. I found this one was much hotter when set to 330C air as opposed to my last hot air station.

Failed on second use
I received it and it all seemed OK, not the greatest quality, but no complaints as I tried the hot air gun that I bought it for. The second use started with a buzzing noise as soon as I powered it on and in a couple of seconds I smelled a burning order and unplugged it. I double checked everything and it seemed OK. I tried to solder (for the first time) the next day and plugged it in and it was dead!!!!!!

Soldering iron broke after 1 month
After about 1 month of use, the soldering iron broke. I bought another one to use as a replacement, and that doesn't work either, which leads me to believe the internal control unit broke.

Not well built
I had to return it because the plastic around the hot air gun melted within minutes of the first use.

Heat gun stopped working
The heat gun stopped working after 2 weeks. I’m new to eeprom so I haven’t used it much. Don’t waste your money.
