Love it!
It's not too often that I'm impressed by new technology since it's moving so quickly, I barely have a chance to notice! But I recently bought this to secure my possessions at the campground. I have tried several ways to secure my very expensive Progressive surge protector and haven't felt comfortable with any of them. Then I found this...Out of the box, I had the concept down in less than three minutes! A new record for a technology product! It came with a handy dandy little screwdriver to remove the battery cover and even included RAYOVAC batteries! The cable itself is 31" long, and has about a 3/8" thick cable. The alarm has a 110db alarm which is really, really loud! The lock is keyless and operates completely via an app and bluetooth on your cell phone. I was very surprised to see how easy it was to use! Once you install the app, you press the little lock button on the front of the unit and it shows up immediately in the device list. Click on it, change the name and password and you're done! Anytime you want to unlock it, just open the app and click, Unlock! It only takes about three seconds to connect to the app when you first open it after the initial setup.I noticed a few reviewers said they could not connect. If you press the picture of the lock under the bluetooth symbol, it will beep three times and make itself visible to bluetooth immediately. I didn't see this step in the instructions. The app has an auto unlock feature that I would not recommend using. I was able to walk almost 100' away from the unit and it was still connected. Leaving the auto unlock on will keep it from locking if you're in the immediate vicinity. You can order more than one of these and name them in the app. For example, you could have kids bikes, my bicycle, scooter, shed, etc. The app can handle as many locks as needed! Like I said earlier, there very few technology products that impress me anymore... this one did! Right down to the nice carrying case! The only thing that would have made this any better is if there was an app for my Galaxy Gear watch!

Sprinkles/rain sets it off, difficult to connect BT, does not stay off when shackled
Update April 8, 2019Yup, just filed the return. Just finished trying to connect to it for about 10 minutes at work. Alarm would not engage; button to decouple the lock would not press. Finally connected to it after several app restarts, restarting bluetooth, etc. Turned auto-enable on and off, unlocked the lock via app, and several other "change anything that can be changed" within the app and somehow finally got it to unlock and let me push in the physical button to decouple the lock/cable. 73% battery. Not fooling with this anymore - it's going back. I found the lock I was looking for on the popular auction site. Changing from 2 Stars (lock does not work for me) to 1 star (lock just does not work well at all).Original Review left April 5, 2019:This may work for some people and their needs, but does not for me and mine.98% sure after the first two days of trying it out that I'm going to return it.I just want a cable lock I can leave on my motorcycle and turn the alarm on when I want to. What I want is this lock, but it is no longer available "YEHAM Anti-Cut Burglary Digital Lock with Alarm" https://www.amazon.com/YEHAM-Anti-Cut-Burglary-Digital-Motorcycle/dp/B01M72HWY8Into my 2nd day of trying it out. Since, when first coupling the lock, you need to press the button on the lock to lock it, I presumed that would always been the case. It is not. I got to work yesterday, coupled the lock, pressed the button. After work, I used the app to manually "unlock" it (did not decouple / pull the cable out of the lock). Rode to the drugstore to pick up a few items. Got back on the bike, started it up, and was surprised with the 3 beep warning, and then the alarm. I'm guessing that since I left the lock coupled/together, once I was out of bluetooth range, it armed itself (I had auto-disable turned off, so had no idea it would auto-enable). Of course, I could not connect to the lock with the app. I'm guessing that since my phone was already attached to my helmet comm, it wouldn't connect to the lock, because almost as soon as I turned my helmet comm off, the alarm stopped and the app finally showed as connected. So today I get to work, couple the lock, push the button. I also turn on "auto-disable" in the app. later. it starts raining very lightly. I just happen to be walking through the lobby when I can hear the alarm going off. Constantly - would reach the end of the 30 second alarm, briefly pause, and start right back up again, while I'm now standing 3 feet from the bike. I try but fail to connect to the lock with the app. Close the app, restart, check the bluetooth connections, etc, try again, nothing. After about the third time the alarm starts again, it turns off and my phone shows as connected. Nope, I'm done.Like I said, I was hoping for an inexpensive alarm that I could leave on the motorcycle to turn on when I want/need it. And being able to turn it off when I want to should go without saying. If I have to decouple the steel wire from the lock to truly turn it off (which means it will no longer stay on the bike on its own), then it's no better than the two disc alarm locks that I already keep in the top box and use when parking overnight or in sketchy areas. The search continues.

Strong Keyless Lock with LOUD Alarm
Super EZ to use. NO KEY to lock/unlock - just use your phone. App EZ to install & use. Installed the app on my iPod, iPhone, & iPad to have as backup 'keys' for this great cable lock. Cable is stout in size & lock has overall feel of quality ! Would buy again !
