Don Juan Hair Grease Pomade 4 Ounce Jar | Heavy Hold | High Shine | Wax Based | Floral Barbershop Scent

This is a great oil based pomade if you need a firm hold and a high shine! If you like Goon Grease but find that it isn't quite as strong of a hold as you would like, and a bit too greasy this product is definitely fills the gap. It has a stronger / firmer hold than Goon Grease, but a similiar shine which is fantastic. If you use pomades you know that the stronger the hold, the less shine you will have. This product is not only a solid hold, but also a high shine. Scent is great as well, as it isn't too strong and clove heavy but more of a citrusy Bay Rum. I've seen other reviews on here where people are upset that it doesn't wash out; umm oil based pomades are not supposed to wash out, that is their beauty. Overall, my new go to!

Super strong hold. Ir a a bit greasy but if you are looking for a shine and great gold I do recommend this product.

I have used this pomade for over 5 years daily. In summer 2024, this pomade changed unexpectedly. There was no notice of a different recipe being sold as the same product, but not only has the packaging changed, the ingredients list has doubled. What used to be the best pomade on the market by far now seems like Vaseline: almost no hold left. It’s a very disappointing change. Please, bring the old product back. It was far superior in every way. Buyer beware this new recipe.

Very waxy which makes it somewhat sticky and hard to apply evenly to even wet hair. But I love the scent personally the hold is awesome better than expected and I would say more of a medium shine if you’re looking for that greasy slick look this isn’t it.

Has a decent sheen and smells good. But very difficult to apply and clean off hands even when washing repeatedly.

Rinde brillo no rigido

Not what I expected - not a “greaser” look This stuff is nearly impossible to spread through your hair. It hurt to try and spread it. Low shine. ROCK SOLID in the can. Barely able to run a comb through it. The sent is almost imperceivable. - It might be good for other uses but shouldn’t be labeled as “grease”. It is in no way grease. - Will not wash out of my hair.

Used this in the field for a slicked back look. Couldn’t shower for 15 days. Kept its hold, attracted limited dirt and dust. When I showered, it came out fairly easily for a wax based pomade. Mind you I have curls fit for an Afro so I literally scoop this shit out with two fingers in order to get enough. This stuff is amazing.

I was so happy to see that are finally available in Europe! I love this brand
