RNtertainment: The NCLEX® Examination Review Game

Its a really good game mostly for the questions if u need to study for nclex. You can get your family or friends to help you study. I think its worth it

I am an instructor for nurses at a local college. I am always trying to find fun ways for my students to learn. I have not tried it yet, but I after review of the product, I know my students are going to love it. I will give an update after I have used it with my class.

I took the NCLEX Jan 2017 after graduating Dec 2016 with my BSN. I did not take any review courses. I studied for about 5 hours combined and took the test as soon as possible. There were questions that were almost identical to those on the cards from this game. I didn’t really use it as a game, I just made statements out of the questions. Very helpful! I have it to other classmates and classes that followed me and they all agreed! Passed the NCLEX with just 75 questions in under an hour. And no I’m not some brainiac. I knew i had failed the test (which supposedly is a good sign). My gpa was around 3.2. You can study too much! It’s more about critical thinking. The real learning begins once you start working. Fun to play

I loved this as a less stressful way to study for the NCLEX-RN. I hosted game night for my nursing school study group and we played a couple rounds after we all were fairly well studied. It was a great way to test our knowledge. When I was not in a group setting I’d take out a stack of the question cards and use them to just quiz myself. I ended up passing the NCLEX-RN in 76 questions, first time.

Bought this game after a friend in nursing school said its tradition in her family that if u play the game as much as possible you will pass the state boards on the first try. I bought the game and play with my kids and play it at school with other soon to be nurses. Yes there are lost of questions we have never even heard of in school but thats the point! Will update after I take my boards to see if tradition holds up!

Decent product for changing up study time, however, the questions are not always clear and the rationale is also not clear. If you like Elsevier products or are preparing for your end of semester HESI exam, this product may work for you.

This was just about the only thing I used to study for the NCLEX (I only did one chapter of my Saunders review book) and I passed with 100 questions, the majority of which were select all that apply (it was as agonizing as it sounds). My friends and I LOVED the study groups we had with this game, and would change the rules to suit our needs (we had a 3 correct question max before it was the next persons turn). I played with as few as 2 players all the way up to 9, we would use lego minifigs for the additional players. With the rationals it helped us all discuss questions that were answered incorrectly. Everyone in our nursing class that has played this game has passed the NCLEX (some with 75, a couple all the way up to the full 265) and now those that haven't taken it are asking to borrow it so they can use it too. We did find a question or two that had errors but overall I recommend it to anyone.

This game makes studying for the NCLEX fun. Giving random questions in different categories, makes you think about the situations, rules , ect pertaining to the nursing field. Playing this game with people that do not have an education in nursing, is still fun, and creates a lot of discussion, helping to rationalize the reasons why the rules and practices of nursing are the way they are. A++

So many questions! It's awesome to have a different/fun way to study, especially when we are all stressing about the NCLEX. This games offers so many questions in multiple categories. The rules are simple and the game is straightforward. My friends love it as well!

A great game and study tool. It was missing a game piece when I got it though. Overall a great purchase.

we played this endlessly while my daughter was studying for her RN exams and now she has passed it on to friends so that they can use is!! She passed her exam btw!!!! first try!!!
