Which shade do you think will work on african-american skin; vanilla or hale clair?

Not sure because I am very light skinned. But I would suggest to go for lighter shade if you can't decide by two shades because foundation oxidises on the skin anyway and becomes a bit darker. Also if it is too light you can play with blush or bronzer. But if you already buy foundation which is too dark for you then you can't do nothing much. So that's just my opinion. Hopefully that helps x
