3M 1080 M12 MATTE BLACK 5ft x 6ft (30 Sq/ft) Car Wrap Vinyl Film

Amazing value. I had been contemplating repainting my Jeep Cherokee since I got it, because I hated the dark green it was. After watching a couple YouTube videos on wrapping a vehicle, and finding this listing for high quality wrap material, I couldn't help it, immediately I bought a sheet to see how hard it could be. Well, I didn't pay enough attention to the videos and ruined my first sheet. So I sucked it up, bought anther one, and did it right this time. Got my hood all wrapped up and looked amazing. So I bout 4 more tubes, stripped the jeep, and went to work. Two days later my jeep looks brand new (and badass). I highly suggest this material as it is easy to work with, and very strong. Here's a pic of halfway through the wrap. Totally clean. (Oh and get a good heat gun, it will make it much easier)

I have a 07 BMW 328xi and my hood was completely trashed to the point where it effected the rest of the aesthetics of the car and I wanted to go the cheapest route which was either wrap the hood or paint job and a paint job doesn't make sense if it's not the entire car. Long story short the product is terrific and I will grab some more of it in the future to do my bumper it is so good of a product! The adhesive is very sticky and is not coming off unless I intentionally take it off and even than it will be a hard task. With matte black there are a lot of fingerprints that are left behind from simple things such as the oils on your fingers and when you wash it the first time make sure to dry the part that you wrap first and do it fast cause there will be steaks of water droplets if not. Also, no heat gun was needed for this product only a xacto knife for cutting the excess off and a RUBBER squeegee.

The product itself works well. My shipment of 60” wide stock arrived with a crease/fold in the middle of the roll. The box wasn’t creased, so I’m guessing it was damaged before it was shipped?

This is great material. Excellent quality and saves you a ton of money doing it yourself. Just take your time. Easy to handle, cut and apply. Seems very thick and durable. I've used it to black out the chrome trim on my car and it's held up exceptionally well so far. Very pleased!

Let me start by saying I have bought from these guys before. Everything has been perfect, the product and shipping times. Last week I received a 5x6 sheet and two 4x5 sheets. The 5x6 sheet tore a little when removing the tape from shipping. During install the vinyl started breaking. Rough breaks like glass. It wasn't to cold, it was during the day in phoenix. I don't understand how this sheet did this, but the other 2 where fine. They did come 2 days apart. Did they come from different suppliers? I looked on here for a contact and could not find anything. Iam putting 4 stars even though kind of upset, the rest of there part has been on spot.

It was more than I expected for this price. Item promised to work 10/10 but that's why only buy 3M vinyl for the easy install and removal on cars. I wrapped the tailgate of my car with this, great stuff its really easy to work with since its nice and soft when used with heat gun. I was afraid that it will break while using with heat gun. Because I wasn't used to work with 3M vinyl before.

This is how it’s sent. It’a waste and completely garbage. Didn’t even bother to put it in a box this is how it comes. Completely torn and ripped up. No common sense at all.

FIRST MAKE SURE YOU CLEAN YOUR HOOD PROPERLY (CLAY BAR) PURCHASE GOOD INSTALLATION TOOLS AND THEN WATCH A VIDEO HOW TO WRAP MY HOOD IN VINYL , START TO FINISH TOOK 2 HOURS YOU WILL NEED THREE PEOPLE (THE THIRD PERSON TO REMOVE THE BACKING BEFORE INSTALLATION), DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A CHEAP PRODUCT USE 3M WRAP , IT JUST LOOKS GREAT!!
