I seriously love this company!! They make such cool stuff if you know how to use them. Their documentation could be more concise, but overall great products from a great company!

It looks like a great little device. But, there's almost no information other than pinouts. No libraries, no demo code, no nothing. And so far, I can't get any other support other than "check this page" (which I already did). Amended Review: I found a good bit of documentation out there on this. Several PDF's for the display and the gyro. A few demo programs for each of the components too. I haven't had a chance to load anything yet, but soon. So this little thing is going to get 5 stars.

Waveshare ist kein unbekannter Name in der Makerszene. Es werden viele interessante Module und Sets angeboten. Dieses hier basiert auf dem bekannten ESP32-S3 Mikrocontroller. Dieser bietet ausgezeichneten Software Support für diverse Entwicklungsumgebungen (ESP IDF oder Arduino). Waveshare unterstützt darüber hinaus dieses konkrete Modul mit Informationen, Bibliotheken und Beispielen. Das Display ist zwar relativ klein, die Bildqualität und auch die Reaktion auf Toucheingaben sind für den gegebenen Preis sehr gut. Dieses Paket enthält kein Kameramodul. Da der Connector für Kameramodule aber vorhanden ist, kann man das leicht nachrüsten. Ich habe zwar noch kein geeignetes Projekt aber das Modul macht so schon Spaß. Vielleicht baue ich damit einen kleinen elektronischen Türspion.

ne fonctionne pas impossible d'acceder a une sdcard erreur 107/108/109 a moins que vous ne vouliez juste regarder la démo ca ne sert a rien vu qu'on ne peut pas lire une sdcard en plus l'insertion de la sdcard est quasi imposssible

Good quality display and works as supposed.

The board is well laid out with a lot of exposed pins. You have access to some good demo software on the module’s wiki page. The one issue is that the demo programs use Waveshare libraries instead of more readily available PlatformIO/Arduino libraries. But, I’ve found that to be the case with other Waveshare boards I’ve bought.
