Really Helps you Control Anger!
Exellent Book! I did not even know that there were so many different types of anger but learning that has really helped me take better control of my emotions. I am happy that my therapist recommended this book since it allowed me to learn about my warning signs and triggers and I am now working on curbing these emotions with every new day.

Insightful
I bought this to learn how to forgive people from my past that hurt me. I don't think I'm the target audience for this book and feel like it's more for people with chronic anger management issues. I still read the whole thing and enjoyed it.

Good read
This book was an easy read and not too heavy on the stories/anecdotes. It is a quick read. It was extremely helpful for helping me identify my anger style and giving me tips on how to change it. I used it as a part of a workshop on Anger Management and I found the book more helpful than the classes. I found the rationales and explanation believable and they rang true for me. I will likely read it again after I try some of the recommendations.

I used this with my treatment team when I was in rehab and it is a GREAT book. I kept insisting I wasn't an angry person, but after taking the quizzes in here and then reading the associated chapters, I realized that anger truly was a secondary emotion and was able to confront the reasons that I was truly struggling with. I definitely recommend this book whether you're in treatment or not. I never saw myself as an angry person, but this book really opened my eyes as to how I was coming off like that and how to deal with it. Life changer for me.

Excellent book
Easy to read, concise. Changed my perceptions of myself and others. Very helpful, I had lots to think about after reading it. If you have or suspect you may have problems with anger, read this book: it changed my life for the better. Awareness is the beginning, and this book was a mirror for myself, helping me see me in a new way. Only then can I choose to change what was tripping me up all these years...

A Practical Book on Handling Anger
I applaud the author Ronald Potter-Efron for the courage to write about an important topic. He offers me hope and instruction on handling this emotion, which I call "the short-fuse emotion." Coming out of denial about having a problem with anger and rage is not easy.During the last thirty-four months while battling my nervous breakdown, I discovered four emotions that have soiled my soul since the age of responsibility, whenever that was. These four emotions are fear, anger, anxiety and shame. This book is "Letting Go of Anger" is both educational and practical. In addition to this book, I recommend the book "The Rage Within:Anger in Modern Life" by Willard Gaylin.
