We bought this to build our own enclosure, but first, we had to test it to see if it works. So we put this between the object and the laser lens, and it didn't allow any radiation to pass through (it didn't affect the substrate). So we're confident this will block the unwanted laser radiation and make our work area safer.

PRO: High OD protection for both blue light and IR lasers (such as my xTool F1 Ultra)NOTE: I prop this up against the F1 Ultra enclosure- when closed to absorb UV light emitted when engraving metals with high power- when operating the conveyor to provide an approach angle not requiring glasses (using caution).

This was exactly what I needed to complete my project. Using the laser with the shields is so much better than using the glasses that my machine came with. And others around me are protected as well. Very happy with this purchase.

These little windows are expensive, but I'll say this one works just as described on our 50 watt Fiber Laser system.
