Perfect for my Etsy
The negative reviews are self evident that they did not pay attention to the item description. They are thin like noodles, which is exactly what I personally needed. They are not meant to be as sturdy as steel either. Not sure what they expected. For small crafts and tiny projects they are amazing. I make tiny crafts and I can cut these down to size with scissors even (albeit they will fly away from you so aim carefully). Overall will purchase again. Best 1/16 I could find.

I use them for DND minis/terrain
None were broken on arrival.

very useful material
Purchased on the recommendation of a colleague for use in museum artifact mounting. For this specialized purpose these rods are very handy, especially that they are easily formable with a standard heat gun and fit snugly in a 1/16" drilled hole. I expect they'd be handy for various other applications, like model-making.

Perfect for my little space diorama
They are just a little more flimsy than I thought they would be but they hold these little micro-machines up well enough. They can be slowly formed by bending. I put a couple 90 degree bends in mine. They can also be heated and bent VERY easily. They also carry light pretty well (fiber-optically speaking).

Great as expected.. but pricey
Well I have to admit.. I ordered the wrong size the first time (ok so I'm "challenged" when converting Metric to Inches.. sigh). But I'm keeping them anyway. Great quality as expected, and have already used a few in another project. Plastruct is great stuff.. but pricing on here, well....

About as thick as a toothpick or vermicelli pasta
I wanted to use these rods to hold up a' "Oh Baby" cake topper cut from scrap book paper, but the rods were just too thin and flimsy. My paper topper was very light, but the rods still bent under the weight. I had to glue two rods together and use two sets (4 rods in all) to keep the rods from bending under the weight. These rods are about the thickness of a toothpick or a piece of vermicelli pasta. I need to find something about twice the thickness.

Quite clear.
Use this for model railroad building. It is clear enough and flexible enough that I also use it like fiber optics to light things

Not worth it
They look thicker in the pic and when I received them I was disappointed and paid a lot for something so flimsy. It didn’t work for me. Literally, spaghetti pasta is thicker as comparison.
