Finally a easier way to carry an extra magazine.
This is an awesome product. It is very comfortable compared to just carrying a loose magazine in your pocket that sways back and forth while you walk. It is very discrete, no one should know any better unless they know what they are looking at. You can kinda see the Glock logo on the bottom of the mag when it is in your pocket, but no big deal. As far as drawing the magazine out, it comes out as smooth as butter. I have not had a problem with it sticking on the mag. It also does not take much pressure to pull it out either, has a rather crisp feel when it slides out. The only thing I do not like about it is of course the price. It is pricey but yet what isn't now a days. I will update later if I have any problems out of it.

Works great. It is slimmer and easier to use than any belt or in the waist band mag carrier on my narrow frame. It holds the mag with great retention and with a little practice can be used to readily secure a mag from either your front or rear pocket. I this one for my S&W Sheild in .40 cal. I would not hesitate to buy another for my glock 19 or any of my other guns for the models they sale. And also the clip is smoothe and won't wear a whole in your jeans or scratch up your brand new leather car seats. That being said, there is a little snag on this that is made to catch in your pocket that helps to retain the mag holster upon drawing the mag. So if you use in your back pocket as I do, you have to practice a little to draw the mag clean. But you should be practicing any way so no big deal.

Great idea! Very functional and the snag tab works as designed. The material is sturdy and I expect it will hold up very well. The metal clip is tight but with use will slip just a tad. This does not effect the usability for me. My clip is black, not silver as in the photo. The holster fit was quite a bit loose for my magazine. The front arms were too far forward off the magazine and allowed the magazine to rattle with every step and did not have the retention I was expecting. Also, at the bottom, one side was a bit too wide on one side, however, the material is re-moldable to some degree and I was able to heat the arms with a hair dryer and push them inward toward each other and pinch the bottom end that was too wide thereby tightening the retention some. I also applied a strip of rubberized grip tape to the inside back of the holster to help with the magazine's retention and to deaden the sound of the magazine's movement inside the holster as I walk or run. The grip tape also gives a very low grade resistance during the draw so it doesn't come out too quickly causing me to drop it. I also applied a strip of rubberized grip tape to the backside of the holster under the clip to give grip between the holster and my jeans. This helps keep the holster from coming out of my pocket with the magazine while drawing.I am giving 4 out 5 stars because I believe the product needs a few design tweaks. I love the snag prong idea. The Snagmag is an effective design but with a few modifications to the holster it could be a great design.

Snagmag Holster works great! It's a bit flimsy looking but doesn't seem to affect performance. If you use this with pants that are pleated or a little looser around the thighs, it prints like a pocket knife but the "snag" hook which keeps the holster in place is a little trickier to engage but works fine with practice following the enclosed instructions. It actually works a lot better with pants that are a little tighter like flat front dress pants or khakis because it "snags" well and keeps the holster from coming out with the magazine. The only problem with tighter pants is that it prints like a Snickers bar with a clip on it, especially when in a seated/kneeling position. The magazine rides low enough in the holster that you can't really tell what it really is unless you have a magazine extension or bumper. The only other thing is the clip that came on mine is black and not silver as pictured, which is actually better for concealment purposes. Make sure you order the correct one. Right-handed goes in left pocket and Left-handed goes in right pocket. This is my EDC extra-mag holster and I love it. Ordering more for my other carry pistols.

Overpriced
Like one of the other reviews, when I opened the package I was disappointed with how cheap and flimsy it felt. However, it is the flex in the plastic that provides the tension on the butt-plate to retain the magazine. It creates more tension then the pocket clip does, so when drawing the mag, it is necessary to put a little pressure on the "holster". Even so, it's an easy smooth draw. My two biggest gripes: 1, The pocket clip - it doesn't have much tension, and the single rivet point allows it to rotate if brushed against something 2, Price - I don't really feel like it's worth the money. After all, for just a bit more CrossBreed sells a nice IWB mag holster that is obviously a significantly more expensive product to produce. And for the same price point as this or less there are plenty of other mag holster options that would cost more to produce than this simple carrier. But here's the rub, with all the other options out there, there is still a need for this holster. I tried finding something that served the same purpose, but at a better value. Either higher quality, or lower price point...and for a single stack mag. In the end I bought this. It does its job, but I still feel a little cheated.*Update*This unknowingly fell out of my pocket. So now I'm not only out the cost of this piece of plastic, but also the replacement cost of the magazine. I won't be buying this again. I'll use a leatherman case or something similar if I can't find a better option.
