Hi-End HiFi Audio AC Power Cable Power Cord US Plug - 10FT (3M)

I had originally purchased this power cable to go with some audio equipment as yet to be delivered but, upon thinking it over, realized it wasn't going to be useful for that gear anyway. That said, I have a wonderful, little DarkVoice tube headphone amplifier whose sound I enjoy. I wondered... "What if I tried this cable on the DarkVoice?" So, I put the WAudio into the system and let everything warm up for awhile. I put my headphones on expecting to detect, hopefully, a subtle-but-noticeable improvement to the sound quality. I was totally blown-away by what I heard! The sound I was familiar with became completely transformed - and very much for the better! The music got demonstrably deeper, more open, richer and with more detail. I admit, I did not expect to hear a change of this magnitude by simply exchanging the power cable. I thought the sound was good from this little amp already. I was unprepared for the dramatic and clear difference in sound quality this power cable made. I have had extensive experience with high-end cables of various kinds through many years of pursuing high-end music reproduction and never heard anything this striking. Be warned, it's a thick, tough to bend and heavy power cord. It's worth the extra effort and price. This is a great cable and it delivers what it promises! In spades!!!

Any audio equipment, such as power amplifiers, that accept IEC connectors, these power cables make a difference over the factory supplied cables. These offer superior sound quality, with a reduction of system noise. These are heavy gauge, and very well built, especially at the price, as I was building my own for a long time. This might sound crazy, but these require some time to break in, as all cables do. I have found about 100 hours of use seems to do it. The equipment connected with these, become smoother, more detailed, more dynamic, more open, and the bass tightens up dramatically, in quality, and quantity. Superior music reproduction, for sure. You would need to spend a lot more on other cables, to get better. Highly recommended.

I purchased the cable with some reservations however it has proven to be beyond my expectations. The power/voltage is superior to anything I have ever purchased and I am truly amazed at the difference it has made with my system as a whole. Best decision ever! Here is proof my power conditioner was reading 118v and now 122v I was surprised.

1st it is well built2nd it is higher than what I expect.3rd it improves a lot for my audio system - which still have a tiny electric noise - my system, chord 2 qute->Audioquest Angel DAC->Nuprime HPA-9"replace orignal power cable with this cable"-> Fostex TH900 mkII.I plug it in to the amplifier it reduces the noise greatly and improves the sound dynamic which you can hear by the difference from AB test 100%.so hope it help other potential buyers.

I have a Pass Labs integrated amp, and already had a audiophile grade plug attached. Tried this cable because of low price and was amazed at the difference in sound quality. Deeper bass, and improved clarity and air. Well worth the money. It’s a bargain!

As skeptical as I was on the prior review I want to make very clear they are correct! This power cable is fantastic!I had a bad 60hz buzz through my speakers. That’s gone with this cable. But fringe benefit of shielded 12ga wire. The sound quality is fantastic. You can tell the input transformer isn’t loosing field as the bass hits. You can literally hear the difference in the reproduction.Hats off at this price. Would easily be $199 at a stereo store.

UPDATE March 3, 2019: The cable keeps falling out of the IEC socket on my printer. I am forced to conclude that not only is this cable sonically inferior to every other commercial cable I have tried in the past 20 years, but it's not even good enough to use on my printer. So it was a total waste of time and money. That's pretty sad, really.I performed A/B sound comparisons with other cables in the $50 and up range and found this one was not in the same league as the others. I used both 4-figure stereo components and a guitar amp. Because this cable didn't sound as good as any of the cables I was already using, it ended up on my laser printer where it's doing an adequate job. For a good budget cable try Pangea AC-14SE. Very few applications need a cable this heavy, but if you do there's always Pangea AC-9SE, or Morrow Audio, or a host of others you could try.

First of all, I have been on this audio merry-go-round since I was a kid. I always had something audio in my home. For all you guys that think you can't possibly get a 50.00 dollar cable from China that sounds good and is up to snuff,I'd say keep spending your hard earned on hype.Do a little more reading. Not viewing YouTube videos. Electricity will pass through any cable regardless the cost. I'm reminded of something Noel Lee said in an interview " When asked why do you make a 7500.00 cable?" He replied, "because it's always someone who will buy it"This is a great cable. Stop listening with your wallet. This is a hobby not a contest to see if you can spend the most money. Back in the day 500.00 was about the maximum I would spend on speakers. 30,000.00 is almost the norm nowadays.

I don't hear a difference between this and a PC power cord but I still don't want anything to limit the potential of the amplifier. Even if cables make a difference it would be insignificant relative to other things. I think if you move your head a couple of inches, it will exceed the difference between the best cable and the worst cable. I still bought it and I didn't regret.

I have purchased several of these cords and use for my 3 amps, Bryson 4BSST, Muzishare X7 tube integrated and Sound Artist integrated, and as upgrade cables for my power conditioners, and for the active woofers in my Mirage OM5 speakers. Perhaps a combination of several upgrades including electric and outlets working in unison, but final result is cleaner, and more focused sound. Great build quality and good looking cords. I am pleased with this product and recommend.

J’ai utilisé ce produit avec un DAC et les résultats sont très satisfaisants. La fabrication est très bonne et vous obtiendrez de très bon résultats. L’alimentation du DAC s’est amélioré. A ce prix, il est difficile de trouver mieux. Très bon achat.

La plupart des vis des différents connecteurs étaient dévissés. Les connections IEC et mâle sont d'un plastique très mince.À éviter même si ce câble est d'une très belle apparence.
