Awesome Harvest
Awesome. I planted them 3 days after they have been delivered. All roots are survived and growing! Highly recommend!

Very fragile plants
I have been trying to grow them for quite awhile and they are poor growers and all it takes is a minor stress and the leaves wilt. I started them in an enclosed porch with lots of sun. All it takes is a very short time outside to get a little sun, and the plant wilts and starts to dies. They are still just baby plants after over 2 months, and I will be lucky to have one healthy plant out of 6. I picked up some starts at WalMart on sale, and picked up start from a friends garden. They are not having the problem these are having and are growing well. Very expensive mistake.

2 Year update Started slow but alive and well now
Ordered April 24th, delivered May 3rd, planted May 4th, pictures take on May 25th. I had high hopes, with reading other reviews. Well here are my results, out of 6 plants only 2 are alive and growing. I planted them the day after I received them. I dug out spots for them along a fence and sifted out the grass and weeds and mixed in peat moss and added some top soil. I gently removed the stems from each other and gave them a good soaking after planting. I've been watering them every three days. I live in Northern NY so the days are not very hot.I'd recommend buying local if possible. I got started a bit to late and couldn't find any thorn-less Raspberrys. Good luck2 Year update. Maybe I was to quick to rate them initial 2 stars. The Raspberrys are alive and well and grow like weeds and produce yummy berrys that my little girl loves. If you prepare the ground and add some fertilizer, I use fish emulsion, they should grow fine. I believe that all of the original 6 plants survived some were just slow to establish.

Raspberry plants
Received 7 plants instead of 6. Bonus plants are always a plus. Plants came well-packaged. Some already have sprouts so I am excited about it. Planted them in pots first and kept them in a shaded spot, that still gets some sun, next to my storage to protect them from the cold weather.I will update this review after a few weeks.UPDATE:About 2 months after I planted my berries in pots, i have transplanted them in the ground. 6 plants have beautifully sprouted, 1 doesnt have a sign of life yet. But it's ok. Even if that 1 plant dies it is still ok because that was free. I can't wait until they start to flower and bear fruits. This is my second time planting raspberry. My first was successful but I had to leave it when we moved. Sweet berries that continues to provide more each year. So I am hoping these plants that I got now will give me bountiful sweet berries too.

Hard to acclimate but once set they are great!
My experience.First year all 6 plants diedSecond year 1 plant survived that made fruit the following year. The fruits are delicious if they have enough water. After a freeze flowers died but once worm weather came in, flowers came in. Now at end of November it's making flowers for berries.I'm buying now more and plant them now in the hope they will survive over winter and grow beautifully next year.Note: I've noticed it's important to be planted early spring otherwise they might die. I'm trying now to see how they do if I plant them in November.PS: I'm in TN and it's humid and a lot of pests but still they made berries durring the whole summer. My daughter loves going and picking them.Year threeI’ve planted 18 plants in November even it was a -10 degree they survived and on the first year they have great berries. 95% survival rate.Ps if you water them constant they will bloom in fruits.

Looks good so far
All six came in nice condition with moist bare roots in a well-packaged container. I put them into potting soil because it's too cold outside and three of them are already growing quite vigorously and a fourth is waking up - after about a week. I'm pretty sure they're going to do just fine.Added note - it's early June - I got 12 more of these raspberry starts last month and got them in the backyard in a nice, sunny spot. All 18 are doing well, the ones that had a head start are well ahead of the bareroots that went into the ground, of course, but all 18 of them are showing vigorous growth. Very satisfied.
