Shiny, Bright & Beautiful Gold Leaf!
This was the toughest gold leaf I have ever worked with! But, then, I have never used 24 k gold leaf before… only the imitation!I did find this gold leaf to be extremely thin… and I will give you an example.if I breathed on the gold leaf, or if I walked somewhere with it, and happened to have a sheet open, the gold leaf would fold over, onto itself! It was that delicate! But, on the other hand, it was JUST PERFECT for the project I needed, so I was extremely pleased with this! This gold leaf ended up looking great, glimmered as you would expect 24 K gold to, & looked A•M•A•Z•I•N•G!I found for me, the most helpful tools to use to pick off tiny pieces to apply to my art work (note: I did not eat this), was tweezers, toothpicks, the bottom end of a small paintbrush, as well as a very soft paintbrush to smooth the gold leaf on before applying the sealant coat on top!I would say for 24 k gold leaf this tends to run in the low to medium price range.Would purchase it again for another gold leaf project!

Wonderful guilding paper and super price!
I like the product, but as noted elsewhere, it is tricky/difficult to use/apply to the desired surface. I used it on black canvas and on gessoed panels. It's easier to secure on the gessoed panels, of course, because they are firm and you can use more pressure to adhere the product to the adhesive on the hard surface. But it worked well enough on the canvas to allow me to create the piece above. I used both gold and silver and allowed the gold leaf to separate and create it's own background design for the Crow with Berries. I did used several coats of spray varnish to secure the metallic leafing to the canvas, where adhering was a bit harder to achieve. It's quite tricky to "lift" the sheets of leaf and then move it to the site it will enhance. I used a watercolor brush, a stenciling brush, and now want to try a wide soft bristle brush next time to see if that will more evenly lift the sheets from the tissue and onto my painting surface.Great product and a low price making experimentation reasonable! Thanks!PatPaints

Great gold leaf!
Great gold leaf for a cake.! I applied to swiss meringue buttercream at cold state, straight from fridge.

Very nice but difficult to apply.
Every single gold leaf should be packed between a pair of cases to allow easy application without altering other gold leaf. It is not the case here since it is a paper leaf paper leaf package. Giving it a 4 stars because of the value for money ratio. Otherwise 3.

Beautiful.
I used this on a wedding cake I made and it was a hit. The gold leaf is so fine and flimsy so you need to use a fine paint brush to apply the gold to the cake. Make sure to apply the gold when the cake is very cold so your frosting doesn’t get all over your brush and pick up too much gold.

Flimsy
Very flimsy. Do not transfer easily. Not the best gold leaf sheets I have worked with.

Great product !
Really high-quality product. It’s a little harder than beginning to apply but once you get used to it you just keep going. Absolutely beautiful !

Beautiful
This was used to line the inside of a wooden urn. The sheets are ultra thin and easy to rip and stick together, but was beautiful once applied.
