STK Nikon D90 Battery Charger Replacement - for EN-EL3e Battery

The idea behind the product is good. The convenience of having a wall socket charger without extra wires and a in car socket charger is convincing.The implementation, however, is severely flawed. The resistors burnt up the first time I used it on 110AC. I've opened it up to find that the board is a typical product of china. Low quality components and badly put together. If it works for you, its probably going to be good for awhile, just don't count on it on trips out. You don't wanna be caught without a battery charger, as I did...However, I must add that SterlingTEK vigilantly made efforts to replace the unit that I've received. The product might not be of high quality, but at the end of the day, it works. Just need to strike a balance between expectations and the low price point.

Like others, I got this to replace the original that came with my Nikon camera and it's great. What I like is it folds up so you can easily carry it in your camera bag and there are no cords to lose or tangle. It also has an indicator light that goes from red to green when your battery is charged. I've only used it on AC and have not tried the auto adaptor, so i don't know how well that works, but so far so good using AC. BTW, It works just fine with my Nikon D70, so don't go by the camera model number; go by the battery model number.

I lost the charger that came with my D90 and went looking for something to replace it. This peaked my interest based on the reviews. I took it with me on a three week trip recently and it performed well. Battery fits tight and holds to the wall well. The unit charges fast and I could not be more pleased.

The charger works as it should. The only surprise is that the box it came in is labeled as a travel charger. The charger plugs straight into the wall and has an attachment for charging it in the car. I bought this charger to replace my lost battery charger that came with my Nikon d90. Regardless of my nervous surprise upon opening the package, it works as a regular charger.

I was a little skeptical to purchase an aftermarket charger for our D90 battery, but this has worked great. The plug flips in and out of the way when not plugged in. It also comes with a car adapter. So, we actually like it better than the OEM battery charger.

I bought this for my BF, because he lost the charger for his phone. so I purchased the cahrger and an extra battery. I thought it may not work well, because it was so dirt cheap, but I was delightfully wrong!!

I love than it is small and portable. I do a great deal of sport photography on the road and being able to charge a battery in the car or in a hotel room is invaluable.

It work fine; I've only used it one time, though. I am not using the camera much since I purchased the charger. The only comment in the negative is that it gets a bit warm; but not dangerously so.
