Great for filtering goat milk
Got these as a pre-filter for my milk bucket. They are amazing at that!Bought them before, and lost one, but the other one is still working great.** Take care in washing - mom put mine through the washing machine and dryer. Although it still does it's job, the one that survived is now smaller, having shrunk in the process. My normal procedure is to wash in warm water immediately after use and hang dry - this ensures they are not damaged by heat.I place the bag over the top of my milk bucket (I have mini-nubians, so my bucket is a small one). Initially, I tried using a rubber band to hold it to the bucket, but had many issues, but once I discovered that the opening of the bags fits perfectly over my bucket, I've been doing it that way. The bag sticks up, so I gently push part of it down into the bucket, and fold the remaining part still sticking up to the side. Milk goes straight from the goat through this into the bucket. No muss, no fuss, no hair, no 'berries'.

An essential in my kitchen
These mesh bags are so versatile and useful, I'll always have them in my kitchen! Not just for nut milks, although they do a great job at them, and once you DIY you'll never go back to store-bought. It's great to be able to make almond milk with no sweeteners, preservatives or fillers, and the leftover almond pulp can be dried and used in baked goods too! I also use these bags for straining juices from fruit pureed in a blender, no need for an expensive juicer. They're great for cold-brew coffee too (although the long brewing process will leave them permanently stained, so I keep one just for coffee). I wash them by hand in hot, soapy water but haven't managed to get rid of the coffee color. They've held up well to months of straining, squeezing and washing, but I bought a backup set just in case one fails because I don't want to be without them now!

Works well for juicing
I prefer these bags over the cheesecloth bags.Tip: turn them inside out to use, so the pulp doesn’t get jammed up in the seams.Wash by hand with a mild, free and clear dish detergent, lay flat on a towel or hang to dry.I use one multiple times, you can tell when it’s time to use a new one.

I use these all the time.
I make my own coconut milk at least once a week. These bags have saved my life. I used to use cheesecloth and it was such a pain. I cut it to size, secured it to the jar, poured the milk over it while trying to not spill when the pulp got too thick on the top of the cheesecloth. These bags have made the process so much easier. I take a bag, place it open in a large pyrex measuring cup, pour in the milk and then squeeze out the liquid. Done! Cleaning is a total breeze. I remove the pulp, wash with a drop of dish soap, rinse it out and let it air dry. I've even used these bags while traveling. They are seriously the best.

Saves me so much time and effort for cold brew
For the price I couldn’t be happier. These are perfect for my cold brew. They leave a little bit of very fine particles of beans behind. This has made my cold brew process so much easier. I place the bag into a large mason jar and put the ground coffee directly into the bag. I then place the water into the bag that’s lining the jar. I use the lid of the jar to hold up the bag and let it sit. Once about 12 hours has passed I pull the bag up out of the water then dispose of the coffee grounds. The bag rinses easily but some grounds tend to stick. I hang it to dry.

Wrong size
I ordered 12"x12", but received 12"x 9.5". Besides that, the bag is easy to use and clean.
