My old valves were starting to leak badly, so I removed guts of the new ones and the plastic cap from this to do my repairs. Everything worked out perfectly.

Well made. Great product. Easy to swap old ones out and wire up.one of the valves had a broken o-ring on the solenoid. Luckily I was replacing similar valves. I used the o-ring from an old valve. Fragile but worked

Replaced my old Sprinkler valve
This was cheaper than buying a new solenoid and also needing to replace the diaphragm. Cut the pipe off at the bottom then got two 1” PVC couplers and glued them in place. Took me less than 10 minutes to install easy replacement. No leaks

Bought this 1 inch Rainbird to replace the broken one that i believe was worn out. to replace a single part was not going to work for me because of Cost ! So I bought a whole new unit that I know will Work...

Solidly built system
Works well but not abundantly clear that the valves MUST be higher than the highest sprinkler head on the zone, otherwise all the water in that zone backflows through the valve into your pit or wherever you mounted the valve.
