I love these shoes!
I have a high arch, a narrow heal, and a wider toe bed. I need comfortable shoes for work and have had a difficult time find shoes that support my arch, are comfortable, stay on my feet when I'm walking and look beautiful. Maryjanes are what I usually go with, but so often they are kind of ugly or if not, then they are uncomfortable. These shoes came today. I immediately put them on and walked around in them. They are a dream. I love them!! The arch is similar to the height in my sneakers, and the insert is removable. The toe is wide enough but not so wide it looks ugly and I love the seam down the middle of the toe. The footbed appears to be suede as is the interior of the shoe and has a slight cushion to it--I would say it will act as a shock absorber for walking. The color is a very nice dark blue. The strap fastens with velcro, but it has a buckle so it doesn't look as though it fastens with velcro, and it is a nicely narrow strap. Classy! I will definitely buy more of these.

So comfy from day 1!
Love these shoes! My second pair! I’m a flight attendant and am on my feet all day and they are so comfy! I’m a 9 1/2 and they fit true to size!

Cute shoes - good support
These mary janes by Taos are so cute. I reduced the star from 5 because they do not have as much arch support as my six (yes six) other pairs of Taos shoes. I originally found these to help with my plantar fasciatis... - I was desperate and found this brand - a lifesaver for sure! Even my 20 something daughter likes them.

Serving in Style & Comfort
This shoes is my go-to shoe for work! I’m a server in a busy restaurant and these shoes last me a year with enough support, style, and durability. I have had 3 pair, and never have had to “break them in”. Fits true to size. Velcro strap for easy on/off and and adjustability. Love these shoes!

Too narrow, too short and too much black in front
I returned them....I have been wearing TAOS size 7 US for years, even bought another pair of TAOS sandals same time as this purchase but these shoes were too narrow and way too short for my feet. Plus the tan color has a lot of black in the front toe area which to me just detracts from the shoe, makes it looks scuffed. I was disappointed because I wanted a neutral tan closed shoed and this color seemed nice and wuld have been if only it had LESS black shadowing in the front. Not for me.

Shoe too tight
I bought this shoe because I have narrow ankles and a wider foot and the reviews claimed this shoe might work for that problem. Unfortunately, the box toe portion was too tight but the ankle portion fit great. The shoes look well made and I wish they had worked but they just weren't for me.

Comfy but not squishy
This shoe has been a dream come true in dealing with my plantar fasciitis. I can wear them to work and feel professional, yet comfortable. They seemed very stiff right out of the box and I wasn't sure they would work for me. I put them on the first day and was on my feet all day cleaning house and running errands. My feet were still happy and pain-free at the end of the day. Then I wore them to a street fair and that was hours on my feet. Still no problem.Love these shoes!

Toe box accommodates bunions. The perfect shade of red.
Unlike many people, apparently, I have never had a shoe that I could wear comfortably right out of the box. Until now. The shoes look great (though I wish the heel formed more of a right angle with the sole, but that's not a big deal). They are very comfortable, even with crazy hard-to-fit feet like mine. Some reviewers have complained about the velcro strap but it is not a problem for me (at least so far). The shoes look great with pants and jeans and I think they'll be good, too, with tights and a skirt as the weather cools down. I got the red ones partly because they were the least expensive and partly because I love red. The red is a perfect shade-- not browish or orangey--and not bright. You won't look like Dorothy, hoping to get back to Kansas.I have other colors in my save-for-later shopping cart, just hoping that the price comes down.On the other hand, it's worth paying more for shoes that you can wear without pain.
