VERY LIGHT WEIGHT. KEEP IN MIND THOUGH BEFORE BUYING THAT SOME LEAGUES DO NOT ALLOW 2 PIECE MASKS FOR CATCHERS UNTIL A CERTAIN AGE.

Great mask, my son loves it..no cons at all

I love the powder coating and light weight of the mask. The head strap is high quality with a rubberized tacky grip. I still added some pine tar to my skull cap but it really wasn’t needed. Also comes with a nice storage bag so I can keep it looking new every practice and game. I had originally bought a cheaper mask but it was heavy. This mask is light weight and strong alloy. I’ve take a couple of fouled 85mph pitches to the mask and the face cushion pads take on 100% of the impact from the ball. I wear my Oakley “sweep” style sunglasses under the mask and I often forget I even have them on because the mask is that comfortable.

My son is a catcher and plays 12 & 13u little league baseball, and he absolutely loves how light this helmet is with the skull cap for catching. BUT the biggest down fall is SOME tournaments and leagues do not allow this style of mask for little leaguers. Just beware of this when purchasing. Check your league and tournament rules. The product is a 5 star for sure, very well made and light weight.

Easily adjustable. The air pocket makes hard face shots tolerable and redistributes the force of the ball well. Super comfortable to wear for extended innings. Easy to adjust, put on and flip off! definitely recommended for any catcher or umpire looking for a new face mask.

This item seems very strong but too heavy to use.
