Playmobil Advent Calendar Christmas Ball in The Crystal Salon

This advent calender was a big hit with my 6yo daughter. She woke up each day and was so excited to open up a new door and find what she was getting next to go with her set. It comes with a background that you set up and you set up all the little figures and trinkets that you get daily. The background is like a ballroom theme. I was impressed at the detail of each item, and everything was so adorable. Everything was sturdy, and well made. I actually now prefer playmobil over Lego brand. The little tree was beyond adorable, with little ornaments and a star on top. The only thing my daughter didnt care for was that the back of the box shows everything that you get inside. She would prefer to have everything be a suprise. I give thos item 5 stars straight through all areas. I plan to buy next years playmobile advent calendar again.

The first thing I noticed was the QUALITY of this Advent calendar - made in Germany! Advent calendars are very different from when I was a kid (I am in my 60s), when we had a simple little affair with a piece of candy behind each "door". Anyhow, I got the Santa's workshop for my 5 year old grandson, and the Christmas ball for my 7 year old granddaughter. Well, they wound up opening all the doors in one day (haha, who was I to say no? They're my grandkids!) and assembling the little pieces with very little help from Grandma, so the age appropriateness of the item is perfect. Let me just say BRAVO to Amazon for carrying these beautiful little items, and well done to the German company who manufactured this quality item. They enabled me to have a wonderful day with my grandkids, and a learning experience for them as well, as I explained what Advent was while we played. Probably most kids anymore don't even know what Advent is, and though this is a secular Advent calendar, the hours of play we enjoyed promoted much discussion about Advent and the true meaning of Christmas. Great purchase, I highly recommend.

Hi, My daughter got an advent calendar in 2019 and she wanted another one for 2020, so I told her that would be fine, but to find an item that she could use or wear, since last year the items inside did not fit her wrist and the rings did not find on her hands. When she showed me this one I automatically loved the detail. She wasn't sure if this is what she wanted and I told her it is your decision, but it is not going to be an item that you cannot enjoy. After about 30 minutes of looking at the other choices she decided to go with this one and it was the best decision. When she opened up a new item each day the detail was so amazing and I just couldn't wait until the next day to see what was behind the next door. This item is a perfect gift for kids that are older than 5 years, because there are some small pieces, but the detail is spot on and I even told her I wanted to order one for me next year, but not the same exact item just one that is a PLAYMOBILE item. Perfect item would highly recommend.

This advent calendar is the best I ever bought for my kids. My preschooler loves it. She plays with it a lot and opening it is the first thing she does every day. It goes well with her other Playmobil figures and stuff but it has a special Christmas feeling. Each day reveals a piece of the Christmas ball and the whole thing is so inexpensive compared to other Playmobils it's hard to believe there are so many pieces inside. I hope they do another one next year because, obviously, I won't buy the exact same one but I will want to buy another Playmobil advent calendar.

I'm an adult person who enjoys Advent calendars and I was so tired of chocolate. This one really amused me throughout the whole holiday runup (I did silly things like have the little dog on the table eating the turkey, or chasing the cat into the Christmas tree). and the quality was excellent. I really enjoyed this and will be getting another Playmobil calendar next year!

I have had several Advent calendars by Playmobil and they are all adorable, well made, and meant to last long after the holiday. This set, however, had something left to be desired. Most of the stuff you open was dining ware. A table, chairs, lots of little glasses, plates. A few cats, the people, I don't know.. it just didn't hit home at all with my daughter.

I bought this advent calendar partially so my daughter could count down to Christmas, but also as a bribe to get her to finish her distance learning school work each day. During the week she could not open the window until she had finished her schooling. It was a good motivator, and gave her something to look forward to in a time when she couldn't be in class with her friends. The quality was good and she played with it each afternoon when she got a new piece. Compared to the cost of other Playmobil sets, this one was a good value.

My 4.5 year old daughter can not wait to open her Advent each morning and she instantly puts it to good use. As always for Playmobil, each item is well made and thought out and the details are just beautiful. The order of items makes sense as well. For the first 5 days we have gotten a figurine, a dog, a table, place settings, and now chairs. This set seems to match the Playmobil Magic line nicely and will be easily incorporated into future Christmas gifts that have been requested of Santa. ;)

This is a great advent calendar and a wonderful alternative to chocolate for kids. I gifted it to my kids and others and it’s always been a success!

What a gorgeous set!!! 1 guy had a broken leg but was easily fixed.The musicians I loved the most !!! I buy a new playmobil set each year and now I have 5!!! Fun to collect for sure!!!

I bought this advent calander for my grand daughter who loves Princesses. The box is impressive size. I am really pleased with the overall appearance. The quality of the packaging is very good. There is a picture on the outer cover of the items that will be behind each window ( you may want to remove this..if you want the surprise !) The actual items look really good..I think my grand daughter will be happy with each day's gift. I purchased the small Princess castle so that she will get a lot of play value from it. Although there is s cardboard scene to set up to create a story. Yes.. I would definately reccommend for the price, quality & the array of gifts
