China Unicom 4G Great China 30 Days Data SIM 6GB FUP

I bought this sim card in anticipation of my visit to China. It works very well as I'm in China right now and can access the internet to visit Facebook, Google, YouTube, etc. I was able to use Google maps without a problem. I tested this in Beijing, Guangzhou and in local towns of Guangdong. I do suggest you get multiple sim cards if you plan to stay in China for over 2 weeks and have minimal access to internet. These cards are cheaper if you buy them in Hong Kong as well.Regardless, I highly recommend this product. You should screen capture the APN information too before you go on your trip in case you use an android phone and the settings don't work automatically. The card worked instantly once I inserted the card into the phone.

I just back from a 10 day tour through China and purchased this SIM card in advance with hopeful optimism. Suffice it to say I was very impressed. I was supposedly getting 4G service on my unlocked Samsung S8 and could access all my messaging, Google, and social media without a vpn. I even tethered several devices without a problem, although that slowed things down quite a bit. I wil be recommending this to my brother who will be traveling to China in another couple of months.

The SIM card couldn’t be activated in Beijing. It is not compatible with iPhone X.

Carte commandée pour une semaine en chine et une semaine a H.K. Installer directement a mon arrivé en Chine fonctionne tres bien. Accès a tout l'internet mondiale, pas de bloclage sur le reseau chinois. Google, wattsap...Pour H.K idem. Utilisation intensive du fait que j'utile google traduction en permanence et pas de problèmes majeur. Parfois relancer les données mobiles car perte du signal. Tres pratique mais chere. Si voys commencé par H.K acheter votre carte la bas beaucoup moins chere.

La he usado en Pekin, Xian, Guillin, Shanghai y funciona perfectamente con whatsshapp, google, google maps, facebook, etc. No necesita instalar VPN ni nada, simplemente hay que insertarla en el movil libre y empezar a usarla, no hace falta configurar nada. Yo la he usado en un movil que hacía de router para compartir el internet con otros moviles y sin problemas.Para usar la wifi de los hoteles si que es necesario instalar un VPN ya que las aplicaciones anteriores no funcionan bien. El whatsshap te dejará usarlo solo para texto y llamadas de voz, no podrás enviar fotos y el texto va lento lento. Las llamadas muy bien. Para navegar yo abria el chrome, ponia www.bing.es y en esa pagina si que me dejaba navegar por internet. Todo esto para usar la wifi (con la tarjeta de datos no hay ningún problema, pero son solo 3 Gb...). Para mapas el maps.me funciona muy bien sin conexion y lleva incorporadas las lineas de metro

Für eine China-Rundreise habe ich diese SIM mit 6 GB Daten bestellt. Auf iPhone XS: funktioniert wie annonciert. Nano-SIM noch im Flug installiert, nach dem Landeanflug und Touch-Down in Peking den Flugmodus abgeschaltet- die Karte bucht sich ins Netz ein, aktiviert sich selbständig ohne weiteres Zutun des Nutzers, und die ersten WhatsApps trudeln noch im Flieger ein! Eine SMS des Providers kommt an, die die Aktivierung nochmal bestätigt.Während der 14 Tage Rundreise überall sehr gute Connects, LTE sogar im Hochgeschwindigkeitszug- exzellente Netzabdeckung, rasante Datentransferraten. Kein Vergleich zu den abends besonders lahmen Hotel-WLANs.Es ist eine Hongkong-Karte, die zugeteilte IP läßt einen nach aussen wie einen Hongkong-Nutzer erscheinen. Wohl deswegen habe ich keinerlei Sperren gefunden, alle Google-Dienste, WhatsApp etc funktionieren. Zusätzliches VPN ist möglich, aber nicht nötig, nur wenn man extrem sicherheitskritisch sein will. Das kommerzielle VPN das ich ebenfalls vorinstalliert hatte auf Laptop, iPhone und iPad , funktionierte übrigens anders als die Hongkong-SIM 5 Tage nicht, erst nach einem Programm-Update des VPN-Herstellers gelang der Connect. Die SIM war praktischer und ließ mich von Anfang an online sein.Ein Nachteil: eine reine Datenkarte. Deswegen konnte ich sie nicht mit einem WeChat Account verknüpfen, was ich eigentlich auch vorhatte.Highly recommended. Die Karten die es in Peking am Flughafen und in den Strassen gab, waren teurer (45 Euro für 4 GB statt 27 Euro für 6 GB) und unterliegen den Internet-Blockaden Festland-Chinas.

SIM solo dati (non ha un numero di telefono, non potete né chiamare né ricevere), ideale per la Cina perché funziona tutto perfettamente senza bisogno di alcuna VPN! 3 GB inclusi più che sufficienti per un uso normale (no video in streaming) in 3 settimane. Non richiede registrazione né altro, la mettete nel telefono e funziona subito (una volta in Cina), al massimo c'è da configuare l'APN come spiegato in una delle immagini del prodotto. Per sapere il consumo (se non vi fidate di quello calcolato dal vostro telefono...) "chiamate" il codice *118*50# .Comunque, una volta finiti i 3 GB continua a funzionare ma a velocità ridotta. Consigliatissima.
