This is really good RAM!. I have this RAM in 4 laptops and 3 micro computers and all tests verry good and have not had any failure in years. Its a bummer this has gone up 400% in 7 months. Still the best deal on really good RAM just about anywhere. If you need it buy it!.

Got this to almost Max out a Dell OptiPlex 3070. Make sure before you install the ram that you have the latest firmware for the mother board loaded. Loads up fine and works well. Using this system as a Test bed Proxmox system with VMs right now three systems are linux and one Windows test VM, systems all load fine with this memory.

Not much to say about the item itself, but I did want to write this review for the other Synology NAS owners who are looking to upgrade their RAM. I installed this RAM in my DS224+ to bump it from 2GB to 18GB of usable memory (accepted by and displayed in DiskStation Manager). Disclaimer: I've heard not all RAM (even the same ones that others have success with) are accepted by each individual device. It's pretty much a trial and error game, but given my success with this RAM, I would recommend it as a viable option.

It's works with synology ds423+

Works with Synology DS423+ and DS224+ on DSM 7.2.2 without warning/error. TIP: Only install the RAM >AFTER< you have installed DSM or your system might not boot up. Note: if you are using just a single gigabit connection, ram/nvme cache is not going to significantly improve your file transfers.
